Milton Woodstock Homestead Luxury retreat with NEW 11M POOL just minutes from the beach

Stunning property with beautiful views of the lake and surrounding farm areas and animals. We loved that it was dog friendly and fenced in so our pup had plenty of space to roam. The property was clean, the beds were snuggly and the fireplace and fire pit were a lovely touch for cozy winter evenings. The location felt intimate and secluded despite only being minutes away from town.

The pool was supposed to be heated which we had clarified with the owner before going otherwise we would have booked somewhere else. As we arrived late it was dark but we wanted to go in the pool however the entire pool area was in total darkness as no lights worked in or around the pool (only the lights on the veranda worked which is far from the pool) We then discovered the pool was freezing as it was not turned on, so here we are trying to figure out how turn it on in total darkness using our phone lights, in the end we gave up as the owner was not responding to our messages. Next day he organised for the pool company to come out and fix everything so called, they came out and said yes everything was turned off for our arrival, why? Then he said it will warm up over next 24 hours which it didn’t it just remained freezing so we never ended up using it, and finally he said he had no idea about the lights and why they didn’t work. Finally don’t say “you will find wood for the fire under the veranda” when there isn’t any, just say you will need to go to Bunnings and buy your own firewood 🤦🏼‍♂️
