Discover tranquility at Coveside Cottage, an idyllic retreat perfect for groups and families seeking relaxation and connection. This property offers an array of amenities including kayaks, paddleboards, outdoor games, hammocks, and more. The spacious patio invites you to savor coffee or cocktails by the fire table, enjoy meals al fresco with seating for 12. Bring your boat or pontoon and explore Ashland or Bayfield for ice cream and shopping.
Coveside Cottage boasts over 500 feet of shoreline with a private, sandy swimming beach and breathtaking views of Lake Superior’s Chequamegon Bay from nearly every room. The functional layout enhances the comfort and beauty of this lakeside haven.
The open-concept kitchen is fully equipped for cooking and entertaining. Features include a large granite island (seating for 8), a breakfast nook (seating for 4), a gas range, convection oven, dishwasher, and a refrigerator with an ice maker. You'll find all the utensils, pots, pans, bakeware, and small appliances you need, including a hand mixer and blender.
The living room is designed for relaxation with expansive windows overlooking the lake, ample seating, a queen-sized sleeper sofa, a wall-mounted Smart TV, and a DVD player. A gas fireplace adds warmth on chilly fall nights.
On the main floor, the "Fisherman’s Escape" bedroom offers a private entry and a queen bed, perfect for early risers eager to hit the lake.
Upstairs, a cushioned window seat provides a cozy spot for morning sunrises or a good book with an incredible view. The master bedroom features a large balcony (16ft x 14ft) with deck chairs, a king and queen bed, and a Keurig coffee maker for sunrise coffees on the balcony.
The forest view bedroom includes a queen bed and a walk-in closet, offering a darker, tranquil setting ideal for night owls. The lakeside room boasts a view of the water, a queen bed, and a walk-in closet.
The lake’s shallow, clear waters are perfect for swimming. Guests can use our single and double kayaks and launch boats at nearby Washburn or Ashland, with our dock available for use.
Enjoy yard games like croquet and bocce ball, or shoot hoops on the paved pad. Rinse off in the outdoor shower and relax on the stone patio (mosquito-sprayed) in the outdoor living space. Dine outside and unwind by the gas fire table. Conclude your evenings with a campfire and s’mores in our fire ring (we provide some firewood but not guaranteed). Note: Exterior cameras facing the front door are for liability purposes.

Exceptional property to stay at with fantastic views of Lake Superior. Very well appointed. Large property with many activities at the house to indulge in including kayaking, playing basketball, lying in a hammock, making smores over an outside gas rectangular flame appliance, .... Owner provided many useful items we normally require to buy including paper products, toiletries for the shower, etc. Attention to detail. Very easy to communicate with owner if I had questions about the house. Would rent this place again if I am ever in the area. Wonderful vacation spot in my opinion.
