Maple Ridge Lake House on Center Hill Lake

Wow talk about a home away from home! This host has everything you could possibly need, and it's all nice so it makes you really feel at home! From the firepit to the hot tub overlooking amazing views you really feel like you're in a cabin in the woods, just a really clean very well decorated one so you don't have to sacrifice being comfortable. I don't have a single complaint, the pillows and bed were amazing I slept SO well! The short drive/walk down to the lake is a great spot to fish or just enjoy the views! The tree house looks like a really cool spot to stay as well, we will book it all if we are in the area again! So many cool waterfalls to visit in the area and Cookeville has a lot to offer! If you're looking to stay this is definitely the spot! Also the host seems like a really lovely lady, I have to say this was the best Verbo we have stayed in yet! So clean! 10/10 will recommend!

My husband and I stayed here with my sister, her husband, and my 13-year-old twin boys—and we all agreed this was one of the best VRBOs we’ve ever experienced! From the moment we walked in, we were blown away. The decor was absolutely top notch—it truly felt like an interior designer had styled the entire space. Elegant, cozy, and filled with charm.There were so many thoughtful touches that made the stay feel extra special. The large dining table was perfect for family meals and game nights, and the spacious bar area gave us plenty of room to gather and hang out. Outside, we loved the big dining table next to the hot tub, the comfy couch by the grill, and especially the unique gas fire pit shaped like a giant tree stump—so cool! Even the outdoor chairs were both stylish and unbelievably comfortable.Inside the home, Paula added the sweetest details—little notes tucked into planters, reminders written above the hot tub, and gentle instructions on how to care for the space. It was such a kind, personal touch that made us feel welcomed and respected as guests. The living room had books on country music history that we found fascinating, and I especially loved the Dolly Parton photos sprinkled throughout the house—so fun and fitting!The location was great too—it only took us 35 minutes to get to our kayak tour at Burgess Falls.We made some amazing memories here and are already talking about when we can come back.
