Wonderful secluded place

Wonderful place in a quiet secluded spot. It is heart-warming to think there are still places like this. The room was basic but clean and nice. The tavern is delightful. Superb food, excellent service, magnificent views. Very friendly and professional staff. There is a small beach just a few steps away; in September there was almost no one there. Many picturesque places within easy reach (one does need a car). Our stay was a dream; I only wish we could stay longer.

Very good choice if you look for a calm area away from the crowds and well maitained accomodation.

The room felt luxurious, it was clean and despite the fact that we didn't get room in the higher floor, the view from the ground floor was also amazing, the terrace as well. Beds were very comfortable. The equipment was enough, there was a kettle and a fridge, unfortunately no stove. We also got teas and some cookies. There are two restaurants nearby.

Amazing view, prices high at the restaurant downstairs.

Wonderful view, there is a small beach very close. The place is surrounded by trees and flowers and you can see the sea from the restaurant’s terrace downstairs. Maybe the overall wasn’t worth the money.

The place is isolated from restaurants and supermarkets and the prices of the taverna them offer are very high. Also, the rooms are made every 2 days.

Didn’t have breakfast as we partly self catered

Needed mosquito net on bathroom window. Some double glazing had some condensation between the glass. Instructions on how to use aircon woukd be helpful

Two night stop over whilst walking the Corfu trail.

Beautiful location. Room was a good size , two patios, comfy bed. Great food with lovely views. The staff were both friendly and service minded. We both enjoyed our stop over here.

Superb

The owners were very friendly and helpful, I picked up the key around midnight with no issue, I needed to print boat tickets, when I asked for it, they offered me help and printed it in the office, later my kid got sick, the owner gave me medicine of her kids without hesitation and did not want even money for it. It was pleasure to meet so kind people.

Very clean, spacious and lovely modern room with comfortable bed. Staff was very friendly, food was incredible, and there were great choices. The host were very nice and friendly. We enjoyed our stay there very much. Would recommend and stay there again in a heartbeat.

We enjoyed our stay.

Very nice place, as the family of four, we had enough space (apartment B1). There was a nice balcony and we spent there a lot time in the evenings. Bathroom was good. Plus for cleaning rooms every day. Very close to the beach and nearby tavern (also Alonaki Bay) served very good food. I recommend this place for the fair price.

Not much place for cooking, but we didn't have such plans anyway.

Alonaki Bay is a perfect little gem, a wonderful place to relax and get away from it all.

Alonaki Bay is a little slice of heaven. If you are looking for somewhere to truly relax and ‘get away from it all’. The room we had at the taverna was simply but adequately furnished with a shower/wet room (plenty of hot water), a balcony and a fridge. The bed looked very new and was comfortable. We stayed a week and had our sheets changed once and new towels every 2 days. The restaurant is beautiful with the loveliest of views out over the bay. The food is simple Greek fare, including fresh fish and shellfish freshly cooked and very tasty. There is a little beach directly below the taverna or just 5/10 mins walk you can get to Halikounas Beach, probably one of the best on the island. It is about a 2.5 km strip of sand with clear blue water. Kite and wind surfing in the afternoons. Note that there were no facilities at all on the beach, however they were building a beach bar whilst we were there. The staff at the taverna were very friendly and helped to make our stay a memorable one.

There was no supermarket near Alonaki Bay. The nearest is about 15/20 mins drive. We hired a quad bike for 3 days so we could see a bit more of that area of Corfu plus get to the supermarket.

Magical place, magical food.

What a fabulous place. Perfect location for a couple of days on Halouniki beach, with a view of the flamingoes on the lagoon. The restaurant served the two best meals we've had in a week on Corfu (beautiful fresh fish, rabbit stifado to die for, extraordinary orange pie), in the loveliest garden setting with gorgeous sunset views (though because of the headland, you have to sneak round the corner to see the final glorious sinking of the sun beneath the waves). Rooms are more modern than you might expect (in an IKEA kind of way) and very good for the price. Staff are all very warm and welcoming, and you can believe their recommendations from the menu. Washing machine is accessible in the next-door house.

Some people might be unhappy about the intermittent hot water - I take cold showers anyway, but it wasn't ideal for my wife. Breakfast isn't up to the standards of lunch/dinner. But these are small quibbles in a quite exceptional place.

Amazing experience - would love to visit again!

The hosts were really friendly and helpful at all times. The room was very clean and the views were amazing. What we enjoyed the most is the authentic Greek food prepared at the Taverna everyday. There’s also a private beach less than 5 mins away!

Bring a mosquito repellant, as there could be many mosquitoes during the night.

Very pleasant place, reasonable prices, amazing restaurant.

We traveled by car and with a kid. The atelier was spacious, kitchen had al basic equipment to stay for a week, the floor was lade of stone (to keep cold during the hot Greek summer), we also had 2 porchways - at the front door + another looking at the backyard. The garden of restaurant, enclosed to the hotel, is great! For the first time in my life I saw restaurant incorporated in the nature, so you actually stay in the very nature, surrounded by trees, bushes and flowers, while having dinner on dimмed light and being assisted by friendly staff. In addition, the kid got ill and the staff was very very helpful to us exchanging the lines and towels as much as needed. Thank you, Alonaki bay hotel, for being such good hosts. We will definitely come again in Corfu and definitely will stay with you again.

Very quiet and nice location very close to the amazing Halikounas beach.

Fantastic quiet location in the middle of nature. Nice big and comfortable room with two terraces, a fridge, water boiler, and even possibility to use washing machine on the property. Be aware though that you'll need a car (the next supermarket is several km away). Beautiful Halikounas beach really close and the bay in front of the property for an evening swim.

Maybe a warning for guests that they should do their grocery shopping before arrival. Otherwise everything was perfect.

Setting was perfect , all the staff was lovely and helpful , food was nice and was made too feel very welcome

A beautiful gem in Corfu

Where do I start … this is the most perfect place on Corfu . Everything is so good ,a lovely studio with extremely comfortable beds , clean and beautiful, to large terrasses where there always is sun or shadow on one of them . Delicious food in the restaurant at very fare prices . It’s situated just beside the corrosion lake and you can actually see the flamingos from the terrasse. The owners and employees are top professional and very nice to all the guests . It’s very close to the sea, just walk some paths down from the restaurant , perfect for snorkelling or 5 minutes to a beautiful sand beach just beside the flamingos. This is a place to relax and to contemplate . We will come back to this place and we will stay here much longer next time . Thank you so much for a wonderful time!

THE place is ok, but they should clean more often because when i come was dirty.THE TAVERNA IS FAIR BUT NOTHING SPECIAL JUST I'LL leave it at THAT.The personel is at best tired and bored at all the times, i got the feeling that they are depress and dont want to be there.....but maybe this is my opinion, who knows?THE BEST WORKER FOM THE PERSONEL ITS THE OLD MAN THE GRANDAD....A BIG THANK YOU, ONLY TO YOU

Nice and clean rooms - cleaning was done on a daily basis, good location, very good taverna. Sandy large beaches nearby - 10 to 15 minutes drive.

The place is located near a lake, there are plenty of mosquitos. Also, the beds for the kids were not that comfy.

Fabulous place, we would definitely come back.

The location is stunning, and a short walk from a beautiful sandy beach. It’s a rustic, friendly, family run place with generous touches like hammocks, a washing machine for guests and a shady play area for small kids. The restaurant is great, with a view to match. We turned up at midnight due to flight delays and they were extremely welcoming and fed us.

The apartment is great for 2 adults, but for 4 people it’s not so comfortable. The bathroom was very basic and could have done with modernising.

Wonderful place to unwind at the start of our holiday.

It was so lovely and quiet. The hosts were attentive and friendly. The taverna was beautifully situated and the 4 meals we had there were superb and reasonably priced. Our balcony was a gem and we loved chilling there in the evenings.

Water pressure wasn’t great in the bathroom and the shower was tiny. But plenty of hot water.

Nice and quiet

The lake view from the bed was amazing. Bed very comfortable, big terrasse. You can walk to a beautiful sand beach. Lof of birds!

In april everything is close, event the hotel restaurant so nothing to eat around. If you don't have a car it's a big problem, first city and restaurant 15mn drive.
