13339 - Fore Shore: 5 Min. to Beach Yard w/ Fire Pit!
The Space:
Escape to the sandy shores of Wellfleet this summer and make our Cape House (that comfortably sleeps 7) your Homebase! Hop in the car and set the GPS to Lecount Hollow, White Crest, Maguire Landing, or Breakwater Beaches (both bayside and oceanside beaches-- all within a 7-minute drive!) Pack a picnic lunch and head to the Town Dock to take a leisurely Catboat tour from Postcard Harbors and enjoy a family adventure on the water-- exploring local islands, swimming, and sailing. Alternatively, rent a Canoe, Kayak, or SUP Board from Jack’s Cape Cod and pioneer your owner expedition!
Return to our cottage after a fun-filled day and head into the living room to unwind. Flick on the TV and sink into the large leather couch or soft velvet chairs. Browse the weekly specials at the Bookstore & Restaurant and C-Shore Kitchen + Bar for dinner or head into the kitchen to prep some fresh seafood, burgers, and hot dogs to grill up at home (check out Mac's Market for fresh and local catches). The kitchen is fully stocked with stainless steel appliances, a double sink, dishwasher, and center island (great for eating a quick bite or prepping a large meal). Enjoy a sunset dinner outside on the patio, or gather around the indoor dining table on rainy or brisk nights. After dinner, huddle up around the fire pit to roast some S’mores or pass along some of your favorite camp stories to your kids.
When it’s time to throw in the towel and rest up for the next day-- wander back indoors and crash in one of the three bedrooms. The first two bedrooms are side by side on the 1st-Floor and feature Queen beds, ceiling fans, and closets, and dressers for storage. These rooms share a full bathroom that is just right outside the hall and has a stunning stained glass window and combo tub/shower. Head down the stairs to the final bedroom that holds a Queen bed, a Twin bed, and a dresser. Enjoy private access to a newly renovated Full bathroom with a large combo Jetted Tub and Rain Shower-- just right outside your door! The house was perfect for our multi generational family vacation. Everyone had their own space but there were also lots of common areas!

Great house, immaculately clean, delmar was terrific. Outside fire pit is a rarity on the cape and was a real bonus.

Outside the property was beautiful and excellent. Due to very cool/damp weather we didn’t/couldn’t use the yard however.The inside was as very spacious and well organized but we encountered several safety issues - the entry porch concrete slab rocked as though it wasn’t stabilized, the light fixture over the dining table was too low and close to the edge of the table (we had a person hit their head on it when approaching the table and acquired a substantial injury to their head), there was insufficient Kleenex tissue available, would recommend installing exhaust fans in bathrooms as excess humidity was uncomfortable/unneccessary.Location for PTown was convenient and very affordable.We used several businesses and restaurants in/around Wellfleet and enjoyed all of he experiences.Lastly, the directions for connecting to WiFi at the location made no sense when presented with WiFi choices on our wireless devices. Never figured out how to access WiFi connection bad d on a wireless id that didn’t seem to exist. Need to refine directions or something!
