Maui Kaanapali Villas A209 is a 1-bedroom, 1-bathroom condo on the 2nd floor that offers central A/C, high-speed Wi-Fi, and tropical views. This property has elevators. Unit A209 can accommodate up to 4 guests. The large bedroom has a king-size bed, a desk, and access to the lanai. There is a king-size sleeper sofa in the living room area for additional guests. The large bathroom is tastefully decorated and offers dual sinks and a large walk-in shower. The well-appointed kitchen has everything you need to prepare and enjoy meals!
Step inside the open-concept living area where a wall of windows invites you out to your expansive private lanai, decorated with new furniture and cushions as of 2024. There are partial ocean views from the lanai.
Upon checking in at the front desk, Maui Kaanapali Villas has a $35 per day facility fee. This Resort Fee includes parking for 1 vehicle. Additional vehicles are subject to an extra $10 per day.
Maui Ka'anapali Villas features two pools, a child's wading pool area, hot tubs, and a beach activities center where they offer beach rentals such as stand-up paddle boards, boogie boards, snorkel sets, and more. The resort also features an onsite restaurant, Castaways Café, a convenience store, the Third Heaven Spa & Massage, and a state-of-the-art Precor fitness center with 24-hour access, yoga classes 3 times per week, and access to hospitality bathrooms for early arrivals and late departures. Maui Ka'anapali Villas is on the loop that the complimentary Kaanapali Trolley can be taken to other resorts and the Whalers Village Shopping Center. The villas have all the amenities of a large resort but offer the personal aloha and charm of old Hawaii.

The resort is somewhat dated but the villa was huge and having a kitchen was great for breakfast and lunches. The pool area was exceptional - large, clean, never crowded… it was excellent!

Upon arrival we were very happy with the condo itself - as described and per the on-line pictures.
HOWEVER - we quickly noticed that the unit (while neat) had NOT been completely cleaned.
I contacted the property manager. They asked for pictures and I provided the pictures of the worst areas within an hour or two:
> several areas of sticky tile floors
> unwashed glass wall in shower
> very stained placemats-looked like they had NEVER been washed
> what looked like a blood stain (per my wife, a nurse) on one of the walls
I did NOT get a response from the property mgr. (MyPerfectStays) for about 3 days so I contacted them again asking for an update.
They apologized for the delay and set up a day / time for a CORRECTIVE cleaning. Their 1st comment was "there may be a charge for the cleaning" - I had to point out that this was to CORRECT what should have already been done.
This was for our 40th Anniversary, Each time we have a long stay (this time was for 30 days) we ask that the linens be REFRESHED. My request kept seeming to send them back to a script - "this is a rental NOT a Hotel" and there would be a.charge for an extra service.
I pointed out several times that we are very experienced RENTERS and were not asking for "maid service" - just that the linens be refreshed. I noted for our long stays, THIS was the 1st time any owner or agent had ever suggest a charge. They agreed to a "complimentary" service due to their delay in responding to the cleaning.

This property was perfect for our family of 4 (including 2 teens). It was spacious and the beds were very comfortable- even the pull-out was pretty good. The kitchen was large and so was the bathroom and separate bedroom. The property is also amazing- best beach in Maui and beautiful pool near the beach. Excellent vacation- highly recommend it.
