Welcome to Casa Hortênsia, your seaside refuge on the stunning west coast of São Miguel in the charming village of Mosteiros. This unique home offers direct access to the ocean, placing you steps from the fishing port, natural volcanic pools, and a black-sand beach. The view of the Mosteiros islet turns every moment into a calm, memorable experience.
The home comfortably accommodates up to 4 guests across two floors. Key features include:
Bedrooms: Two cozy bedrooms. One ground-floor bedroom with a double bed and one upstairs bedroom with two single beds.
Bathrooms: Two full bathrooms, one on each floor, for added comfort and privacy.
Living Area: A relaxing living room with high ceilings and a cozy indoor fireplace. Terrace doors open directly to the ocean, filling the space with the sound of the sea.
Kitchen: A fully equipped kitchen for preparing home-cooked meals.
Outdoor Space: A back terrace with a BBQ area, perfect for grilling fresh fish from the nearby port.

We had a great stay. The Azorean Butler is very accommodating. The location of this house is great! The only minor issue we had were there were no screens in the windows, so flys would come in. Though it appears this is common for the area.
