Lake Jordan Rental

Our host was great...the house was great...Nothing bad to say about anything. Great place to stay!!!

This was the perfect place for what we needed. We brought our bloodhound and teen kids, the place was a perfect fit for a small family vacation. Even the hound was at ease and comfortable. The kids barely got out to the lake, we grilled steaks, sat around the fire pit, and just thoroughly enjoyed the peace. It felt like we stepped back in time while not losing the modern qualities. We will be back for sure to stay in the same house as it already holds so many memories in just a two night stay.

I am so happy to have found Barefoot Bungalow! It is a lovely place in a beautiful and peaceful setting. You cannot help but to be relaxed from the minute you arrive. My family, including our fur baby, had an absolutely wonderful time. We did not want to leave, and we will be back.

My wife and I got to the property Thursday afternoon and immediately started unloading not thinking much of anything, house smelled clean or febreezed at least. After we had our stuff out we let our dog loose in the house and he started finding stuff on the ground and most was understandable and honestly not a concern so we went ahead and swept, doing so uncovered alot more dirt and just crap then we'd imagine but no big deal. Decided to cook some food we brought so start looking for cookware and realized this place is nearly an afterthought. There were dead bugs in every drawer along with what looked like crap, there was people's trash over the vlfridge along with an inch of dust, there was dead bugs smashed all over the walls of the shower and in the cielings and people's used bars of soaps and bodywashes and everything random they left in there. There were dead gnats on the ceilings throughout the house, the ac vents were black from dust , there was someone's dirty clothes in the dresser, it was so bad we wanted to leave immediately but decided that we didn't want to have a complete waste of what we paid for. The next morning we got up and I cooked breakfast on the dilapidated stove and realized as bad as the inside was the real beauty of this place is the outside. The property is as perfect as one would want imo with a beautiful view of the lake but once the sun went down we were ready to go again so we ended up leaving a full day earlier and left it at that. This place has nothing but potential, I hate even leaving a review like this but it seems like from the reviews this isn't truly being brought up. I dont have any hard feelings, I hope they don't either.
