THE FARM
Aprisco de Candeleda is a farm with a beautiful full rental house in the town of Candeleda, Ávila. A haven of peace in the Tiétar valley, at the foot of the Gredos mountain range. Built on 7,000 meters of land in a meadow, where you can rest and disconnect in the middle of nature surrounded by fruit trees.
The property is accessed via a cemented road. It is located just over an hour and a half from Madrid and one kilometer from the town, which is why it is recommended for a weekend getaway or long calm stays throughout the year.
HOME
Built with thick boulder walls from the gorges, with 230m² it is a full rental house renovated by an interior designer who fell in love with the place and who has personalized every detail to make visitors feel at home.
It is cooked while sharing a glass of wine and a good chat. You can enjoy the open living room, kitchen and dining room as a group. A beautiful covered porch with dining area and summer lounge invites you to enjoy breakfasts in the shade, poolside meals and summer nights.
Inside, 5 spacious bedrooms with comfortable beds designed for rest, and a comfortable sofa bed, share 4 beautiful and comfortable bathrooms.

The pool (which was why we choose this place) was closed 10 days before our arrival (from Oct 1st), but this was not mentioned anywhere. The host was very nice and managed to get it ready after one day, but is was never fully cleaned.Dishwasher also didn’t work. Again, host was very nice and tried to fix, but you still needed to be two people to fill/empty or everything would fall out.Also a LOT!!! of flies inside and out, which did not make the house seam super nice.A part from these (quite big) things, in general the house was nice and with good sleeping accommodations for a big family (but very few glasses), but all solutions were chosen to look nice on pictures but at lowest price like doorframes not being attached and the paint in the small pool comming off in large pieces.Overall the house did not match the price or the pictures, but the host was very nice - we will not stay her again
