Lacroma Apartments

The views were spectacular & nice & quiet Clean & fully equipped kitchen

Sadly we booked this property on the premise that there was a washing machine which was stated on the property details but there was not & the owner when asked where was washing machine said sadly not one available now! If it hasn’t been done already it needs removing from the website. We planned our stay here mainly because they had a washing machine as it was the last leg of a 16 day trip and only travelling with hand luggage, we would not have stayed here. Due to the property location up 400 steps from the beach or a hike up from the city (which we were aware of) this resulted in clothes drenched in sweat each time we ventured out! The said washing machine was essential for our travel. We are a fit couple but we probably wouldn’t recommend a stay to anyone as the walk in the heat is too much. The mattress needs replacing as sagging and squeaked constantly. The tv didn’t work but this was fixed within an acceptable time scale.

Marija and her husband were lovely people and were the perfect hosts. We seen them a few times during our stay as they live close by , but they were never intrusive. Friendly and very nice when we would meet them. The apartment was clean and tidy and had excellent views of the old town. Although it was very hilly to get to, it was worth it when you got there.We also arrived early and Marija was very helpful and clear with instructions to gain entry to the apartment.Having dinner or breakfast on the balcony overlooking the fabulous views is just amazing.

We are in good shape but even more stairs than we anticipated to and from old town!

The main attraction of the apartment is the balcony, with stunning views. The bed is also very comfy. The hosts offered us an early check-in which was amazing and much appreciated in the heat!

The apartment is very difficult to find, and only for a neighbour helping us we wouldn't of found it. We didn't know how to get back to the Old Town, and also weren't told details on how to dispose of rubbish etc. The apartment is small and could be stocked better. For example, you have to buy your own toilet roll, washing up liquid etc. It also wasn't very clean, with hairs etc in the kitchen. The shower is also very small.
