The Oceanaire is a cozy 3bed and 3bath Isle of Palms vacation rental townhouse that is perfect for the family that wants all the perfection of a postcard at their fingertips. The home is simply decorated with only minimal nautical and Charlestonian references hanging on the walls allowing the wonder of nature that frolics just outside your door to do the talking. When you first step into The Oceanaire you see the design of the first level drawing your gaze past the full kitchen, past the dining room, past the comfort of the living room and onto the roomy balcony where you stand nearly eye level with a grove of Palmetto Trees and other vegetation that surround the blue waters of the pool dedicated to guests of Mariners Walk. A large sliding glass door bordered by two equally large windows welcome the splendor of nature into the entirety of the first floor. Step onto the balcony of this vacation rental and you realize that this is not just a view of the freshwater oasis. To the right are the dunes and sands of the Isle of Palms beach, separated from your door by only a few steps. The rolling waves of the Atlantic Ocean lap ashore while the ocean breeze gently strokes the fronds of the Palmetto Trees and you can enjoy it all from the comfort of your personal balcony. Use the private walkways to dip your feet in the pool or the salty water of the ocean. It’s literally just outside your door. Inside this vacation rental on Isle of Palms, sensible tile floors create a smooth transition to the ocean vista. The first level of this vacation condo is dedicated to the shared living space of the kitchen, dining room and living room as well as a single bedroom with queen bed and bath. Upstairs are the two remaining bedrooms including the master which has its own ocean view above the balcony as well as a stand-up shower. The first upstairs room features two twins, the master offers a king bed. Of course, as a guest you are always a short walk or bike ride from all of the amenities of Wild Dunes including the restaurants and shops of the Grand Pavilion, world class golf and tennis as well as wildlife that includes dolphin, egrets, and even sea turtles. **THIS PROPERTY INCLUDES A CREDIT TOWARDS BEACH GEAR W/ A STAY OF 4-14 NIGHTS**

Easy access to beach on boardwalk. Pool outside balcony-clean with a kiddie pool. Master and ancillary bedroom with double beds and two bathrooms upstairs. Queen bedroom and third bath on main. Balcony off living room with clear ocean breezes and views.Fully equipped kitchen for light cooking. A little dated but complex is tidy as is the townhome itself. Comfortable living room furniture to seat 4 adults and 2 kids. Large table for family meals. I recommend a d would stay here again!

This place was plenty big for seven guests. We did have a baby who used a pack and play and a teen who slept on the pull out. The proximity to the beach was amazing, we didn't really have a "beach view" if you will, but we could get there easy enough. The pool was quaint, but the kids had fun. The kiddie pool was slightly cloudy so we stayed out of that. Overall the stay and building itself were fine. However, there was construction every day. Except the last. We have a seven month old baby, and naps during the day were impossible. We could hear the construction on the units right next to us and ynder us, on what was supposed to be a relaxing vacation. We also had two maintenance people show up, one of them just walked in because they had a key code and our daughter was inside alone. When we reached out to the host, we were simply told they didn't know about construction, and the maintenance people showed up on the wrong day. The area is lovely, and we plan on returning, but we will likely look elsewhere to rent from in the future.
