The Rock Cottage sits nestled among majestic views of the surrounding rock formations and wilderness of beautiful Hocking Hills. The cottage and encompassing beauty offers peace and quiet for a perfect getaway.
This 4-bedroom cottage comfortably sleeps 10 guests and sits on an acre of land just minutes from Lake Logan and Hocking Hills State Park. The house is bordered by natural rock formations just like you would see at Old Man’s Cave.
Three bedrooms feature a single queen-sized bed, while the fourth and largest bedroom contains two queen-sized beds. Guests will enjoy two full bathrooms with included towels. (Please bring your own toiletries.) One bathroom contains an oversized shower and the other boasts a shower/tub combo with decorative porcelain tile and travertine surround.
The common spaces are tastefully decorated and furnished with large leather furniture and a dining table for 6. Cook up gourmet meals in the full kitchen (refrigerator, stove/oven, microwave, dishwasher), pots and pans, utensils, and dishes. Get your morning started with the traditional coffee maker or bring pods for the Keurig mini.
Cozy up to the electric fireplace in winter or relax in the air conditioning while surfing the web with the whole house WiFi. Property had a great location, was clean on arrival. Hot tub was really nice on the cool spring evenings. With beds for up to 10, my only complaints are that there was not enough seating in the kitchen (only 6 chairs) for us to eat together as a family. Also only seating for 5 in the living room. Even with that, it was a great weekend. Thanks for hosting.

Everything was wonderful! The cabin was clean and exactly as described. We thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub! The kitchen had everything needed to fix meals. Large refrigerator/freezer. The beds were comfy! Bathrooms were clean and showers were great! We did not use the fire pit due to the burn ban. We also did not use the TV. We visited instead. We had a perfect weekend!

Doable for a first, not likely to stay again, as the sensor light doesn't come on as you step down the 2 black steps in pitch darkness until after you reach the driveway. It states tv with wifi, however our Amazon and Netflix accounts couldnt log on. Not ideal!! Also there's a washer and dryer that we would have paid extra to have access, been very handy. The place itself is nice and cozy in general. Bring your Firestick or Ruco is my suggestion.

Great overall location. Kitchen had everything we needed except storage containers. Hot tub was great especially after the hiking we did. There was a damp musty smell throughout the house(thought it would be more of a clean/fresh smell since no pets or smoking allowed, but it is a wooded area) The bathroom sinks didn't seem to have hot water, Overall enjoyed the visit

Clean, great deck, kitchen had great cooking equipment--sharp knives and new pots and pans. Close to Hocking Hills State Park and Hiking trails. We enjoyed our hike at Conkles Hollow- our 3 year old grandson loved it! Also, checked out the Hocking Hills Winery- good selection.

We stayed at the cottage from Friday night to Sunday morning. There were a few hiccups with scheduling which led to some issues at check-in, but the host was not at fault and was very helpful and prompt in getting them resolved. The property was very nice and we had a great time overall! With a stocked, full kitchen, and enough bedrooms/bathrooms for all, this rental is perfect for larger groups. Local to Logan for shopping, restaurants, and hiking. Its a great option for a stay in Hocking Hills!

The location is very convenient but price too high to find dirty dishes put in cupboards with caked on food, kitchen not clean, trash eg used contact lenses left. Bad wood mold smell throughout house. Owner promised refund of cleaning fee but did not follow up.

Overall impression was fantastic. Place was perfect for our four couples. Made use of the jacuzzi and the fire pit. Proximity to Hocking Hills was great. Only advice to those staying is to cover your side mirrors on your car as the cardinal that lived there loved fighting itself in them. Crazy bird!

We've stayed at this property previously in 2018 so we knew what to expect regarding the layout of the home. It is very spacious and there is lots of room in the bedrooms for all your belongings. I always appreciate houses with a large table to accommodate the amount of guests that are staying so we can eat and play games together. Our only "complaint" was that the floor was extremely sticky throughout the house. We are assuming this was from a cleaning product, not necessarily dirty and the comforters smelled. The white sheets and pillow cases were clean. Overall, we enjoyed our time and we would book again :)

Kerri's place is very cute and secluded. There is plenty of space, we were supposed to have three couples and a baby however one couple backed out. There were two full bathrooms which was great. The beds were comfortable and the pillows were so comfy. Kerri's place is just a short drive to all the major attractions at Hocking Hills. We visited Old Mans Cave, Ash Cave, Rockbridge, Rock House, Cantwell Cliffs, and Conkles Hallow in the two days we were here. We also visited the Hocking Hills winery. After hiking we enjoyed the hot tub to soak our bodies! The only recommendation I would give was maybe adding a dehumidifier, the back of the house smelt a little musty and I think a dehumidifier would do the trick. The rock formations outside of the home were super cool as well and we even had deer visit us every morning near the shed. Thank you Kerri!

My sisters and I enjoyed this peaceful paradise. Great location to Hocking Hill adventures. After a day of hiking, it was a real treat to soak in the hot tub. The full moon was an extra bonus while enjoying the warmed of the firepit. ***Note to future occupants, there is no washer and dryer. Make sure you bring everything you need. Nothing is left behind such as soap, condiments, ice, sugar, bags...

Our family enjoyed staying at this home. It looks just like the pictures in the listing. We found the home was cleaned well - bathrooms, bedrooms and kitchen were spotless. Kitchen is well equipped with dishes, utensils and appliances. Beds were very comfortable; there were plenty of towels provided in the bathroom. We arrived at night and were pleased that there were lights on inside the home as well as outside. It made it easy to find along with creating a "homey" feeling. The motion detector floodlight in the parking area made it easy to safely bring our luggage in along with arriving "home" each evening. The home is well situated for easy access via Hwy 33 which made going to various places in Hocking Hills very easy. Yet it is far enough away that it is very quiet. Communications with the host both before our stay and during the stay were excellent. We would definitely stay here again if we visit this area another time.

Five friends take a trip each year and this was perfect. We needed everything on one level, a large table for playing games, proximity to grocery shopping, comfortable beds, nicely decorated! Could have used something to make ice in since the icemaker wa broken. All in all a very pleasant stay.

We rented this cabin for a work trip and had a great time here. We weren't at the cabin much but what we did experience was very nice. The only issues I had was communication from the property owner. I had to ask how to access the property because I hadn't gotten any check in information prior to the trip. We also paid for 8 guests and only 6 came, so I asked the owner several times if we could get a refund for the extra people we paid for that did not come. Still haven't received a response about that from the owner.

Overall the stay was very nice. I was a bit surprised how close to the road this property was- it was super quiet until cars/trucks passed by. It was very clean. There had been previous damage (done by previous tenants- so property manager was not able to fix in time - but made our group aware). Super convenient- overall was a good stay.
