Perfect location

Very good location, clean rooms, friendly and nice personel, comfortable bed. Excellent starting point to explore Garda lake.

great location, close to shops, and restaurants close to the ferry and bus station good breakfast good wifi

Unfortunately, there was no hot water available for two days. The hotel’s only response was a generic apology "Sorry for the inconvenience, thank you for your understanding", which did not address the issue appropriately. This was quite disappointing, especially for a hotel stay.

Excellent location, but faulty/loud air conditioning that didn’t get fixed

Great location - very central and easy to get to.

The air conditioner in my room was incredibly noisy. It rattled loudly when I turned it on, so I went to the front desk to see if anything could be done about it. I was told that the maintenance team had gone home and that someone would look at it the next day. This was at 14:30. I asked if there was anyway this could be sorted sooner as I wouldn’t be able to sleep with it on due to the noise, but equally wouldn’t be able to sleep with it off as it was very hot. I was told they would get someone to come look at it that day, but no one ever turned up to fix it which was incredibly disappointing.

Nothing more than a bed for the night

Very little to like! Was allowed to drop my bag off early before check in time.

Incredibly dated property with extremely basic facilities. Room was tiny. Right in the centre which was a blessing and curse - very noisy at night as above bars and restaurants.

A place with a great placement, great food and overall very good experience.

The location and the restaurant were great. The staff was very friendly and advised well on attractions to visit and how to get to them.

Great hotel

Hotel is really perfect! New furniture, clean rooms, good personal. Great location in the center, can be noisy early in the morning or evening, but I closed the windows and had a great sleep. Breakfast was tasty, but monotonous, but there are many restaurants nearby.

Great stay on the lakeside

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Astoria. The hotel is situated on the lakeside and has a wonderful breakfast buffet included. The staff was very kind and helpful. Due to unforeseen circumstances, we prolonged our stay with an extra night the evening before. Erika was super helpful and even gave us the time to consider the option to prolong our stay!

Hotel right on the waterfront and v close to the bus station and the ferry. Excellent location. Breakfast included was very good and the hotel has a good restaurant with outdoor seating facing the lake.

Lovely hotel in Garda for a short break

Awesome location, very friendly and helpful receptionist Erika, breakfast was good and lovely spacious breakfast room

Bathroom was very small so larger people would have struggled with the shower and toilet space. Air con also not working so slept with windows open - it was pretty quiet after 11.30pm but noisy in the early morning so needed ear plugs.

The room was basic but lovely and very clean. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel's location was great - so close to the lake, main restaurants and shops etc.

There was no plug in our room near a mirror which made styling my hair difficult. The quilt was quite thin, could've done with a warmer one with weather being colder at night. Breakfast was good but some fresh fruit and freshly made coffee rather than from a machine would've made it even better.

Not worth the price

Good location, near the lake and old town center. Comfy bed.

no lift available and our room was in the second floor. I would not recommend it for a disable person or people with limited mobility which was our case. Very poor and blend breakfast, lack of options, no frequent refill of the plates, only one type of “fresh” bread. Very loud neighbours, you can listen everything and we’re sharing a wall with a couple and a kid that spent the whole morning screaming and running in the room next to us. No parking. We parked near the hotel and the hotel didn’t mentioned that would be a market. I think it would be nice to mention it… it costs us almost 200 euros to get our car back. Not impressed with the service in general. While the rooms seems to be recently renewed, the toilets are quite old and outdated.

The staff were absolutely amazing, from the cleaners to the reception to the kitchen staff- couldn’t fault them and they’d do anything to help you. Beds were comfortable, rooms were clean and the location was fabulous.

The rooms are nice and clean. The reception staff and cleaning ladies are really friendly. good location. bed is comfortable.

Breakfast was bad ! See pictures. Every morning around 9 everything was already empty. because the staff did not attent to it. when we asked for a refill of cheese etc , they gave us angry looks . Breakfast Staff was unfriendly. I mean specifically the 2 ladies and one younger guy . They never reply when we said good morning. Its a huge contrast to other hotel staff. if The Breakfast wasnt so bad we would have given a higher rating, considering the amount we payed we thought this was not done.
