My husband, 10 year-old son, my mom, and my son’s teammate and his father all traveled to Lake of the Ozarks for the week for a baseball World Series. Our team chose the Tan-tar-a Estates as a central location. This was one of the best decisions we made! This gated community was perfect to commute to other houses by golf cart or walking, felt safe, and close to everything we needed. The home was just as pictured. Bedrooms were very large, even with multiple beds, there was ample room for moving around, Two of the bedrooms were located upstairs and one bedroom was located on the main level of the house. This worked extremely well for my 80-year-old mother who did not have to go up and downstairs to go to her room frequently from the kitchen or living area. luggage, multiple people in the room at one time, etc. Each bedroom had its own en suite, which made for a very private stay for the different families in the home, as well as a full bathroom available for any guests in the kitchen/family room quarters. The kitchen was well stocked and thrilled that it had a crockpot we were able to use! The rooms have individual air conditioners, so they could be set to each families preference temperature. My son and husband‘s favorite part of the home was the dock right off the lake. They spent just about every morning and evening fishing. I would definitely recommend staying here, the home was everything pictured and described! Thank you.

Had a great time w my girls at the Private Dock in Margaritaville. Lots of room to spread out and a great space to enjoy friends. We walked down to the lake and jumped off right off the back porch! It was amazing! Thanks for the great stay!!!

We loved the house overall. The location on the lake was great. Loved sitting out on the deck with the views. Everyone room in the house was really nice. It was overall very clean but somethings seemed to go overlooked.

We arrived and had no problem finding and entering the location with pin code. If you are pulling a boat like we were, I would advise to drop off boat at the boat launch at Margaritaville first as the roads in the community of house are narrow, steep and curvy! We learned this the hard way!
The house inside was nicely done and clean(could always be cleaner but it wasn't bad) the upstairs bedrooms did have some water damaged ceilings that needed repaired they made the house, which was otherwise nice, seem a bit rundown. Bathrooms were nice, no shampoo or conditioner was available-not sure if it was listed on the amenities or not as I couldn't access the information after our stay. Washer and dryer worked and supplies were there for your use. We didn't use anything form the kitchen but is looked well stocked should you wish to cook while on vacation! They had games to play but most had pieces missing. Televisions all worked. The dock was easy to get to from Margaritaville and we left our boat docked during our stay and had no problems.
Here is the big disappointment about the property if you have nay desire to make use of the outside patios/decks, forget it. There wasn't much furniture, definitely not enough if you had a houseful. It was also very unkempt . It didn't look like any attention for cleanliness was given to the outside of the house at all, front, back, or the dock. In order to utilize this area we would have had to clean it ourselves. All the furniture was super dirty as well. The umbrella to the outdoor dining table was covered in mold. Cobwebs were abundant and it was clear they had been there a while. The front of the house was also in disarray, broken lighting, hoses, lots of debris and cobwebs.
If they get the outside to match the inside they could easily get a 5 star rating, even with the water damaged ceilings! But unfortunately, they are dropping the ball on the outside maintenance to make this a great destination that offers a large home WITH great outdoor space for gatherings with friends and family.
