We stayed at Holy Cow while in between houses in the area. 2 adults, 3 kids. Pros: awesome space and view of wrigley. This would be an ideal location for a bachelor/ette party, group of friends in town for a game or show. Obviously close to wrigley, bars, restaurants. Cons: 1. Canes is way noisier than we expected. 2. The unit wasn’t what we are used to at this price point- budget paper products, dirty/scratched up pots and pans, discolored bath towels, sheets and blankets just didn’t feel/look clean (they clearly just wash them in house), etc. 3. The parking spot is 6 blocks away…Again, this would be an awesome spot for some 20 something’s looking for a group trip, but it didn’t fit the bill for a family looking for a 5* staycation.

We were in town with family to celebrate a special event that included a Cubs game. The location could not have been better to enjoy walking distance to all Wrigley has to offer. We also hosted a small pre-game event and the kitchen is perfected suited and stocked for catering. Our guests were amazed by the rooftop deck. Beautiful home in a great location!

Fabulous accommodations! Beautifully appointed and so comfortable. This is a great location for our young adult children and their spouses. It is a late night hot spot, with a lot of bars and activities. If you are looking for a quiet place, you may want to consider missing out on this amazing property. This is our second stay and we look forward to being back next year to visit our Chicago family.

Everything about this house is awesome! The roof was so much fun before and after the Cubs games, the kitchen area was a great space to hang out together, and the bathrooms were top notch. The house has 7 actual beds, so if you have a group of more than 7, you’ll have to share beds or bring some air mattresses. I recommend this house, it’s the best VRBO I have ever stayed at.

Great space for entertaining. So close to the park and restaurants. The space was great and very well appointed. A bit loud late a night, but too be expected given the location. We would rent again as it was perfect for a Cubs friends and family celebration.

Lack of communication from owner, no accountability, home was not clean, lack of attention to details. The housekeeper was unaware and still cleaning at check in. Our family was left with towels in the dryer, dirty floors, insufficient smoke detectors, main back door handle broken (fire escape inaccessible ) and a stressful parking situation as the owner did not disclose ALL parking details (suv parking was listed on Vrbo but they did not want to accommodate our vehicle, it took hours of back and forth messages with the parking attendant). Our stay was mediocre for the amount of money we paid and expectations we had from traveling from the west coast. Owner showed little empathy or concern for my concerns and did not seem to care. The location was under a business and therefore our family heard constant loud noises at night. Our trip was tarnished by the initial introduction and it was hard to recover.

We had an amazing stay at this property! It has wonderful amenities and stunning views. Everything we needed was provided and the property was spotless. The roof deck can't be beat and the location right next to Wrigley made it such a fun atmosphere. The check-in and check-out process were very easy. If you want to spend a few days going to Cubs games, or if you want to just experience a great Chicago neighborhood, I would highly recommend this property!

Amazing location with plenty of space and amenities to accommodate a family or any get together. Our team of 4 was able to have a productive meeting, cook meals, and hang out in the evening both inside and out. Being able to prepare meals and not eat in saved money and time. If you choose to hit the bars and restaurants the space is located right in the middle of plenty options. The audio/video set up is great which made the hang-out time much better. Highly recommend this place!

This space was perfect for our main meeting house while my team was in town. The kitchen is stocked, the outdoor space was great, and it was the perfect location. Quick to respond to any issues or questions, parking was a bit of an issue but that was because of a home game at Wrigley.

Friends and family gathered to celebrate the St. Patrick's festivities. We had a great time going out on the river and parade and even though it was cold, we enjoyed the open spaces. It was also very convenient to great restaurants and pubs as well as shopping in walking distrance (Southport Ave). It was great long weekend and we hope to rent again in the spring time.

It was very easy to get around, the neighborhood was great with many places close to enjoy a good time. The unit was very well stocked and with a lot of activities for all. This was a wonderful penthouse. It was exactly what we were looking for. It was also in an ideal location. However, there were some avoidable issues. We were given limited information on some key aspects of the property, like how check in, WiFi, the televisions, and check out worked. I only received the check in information minutes before I arrived at the location. I was only able to communicate with the host through the Vrbo app. Most times he was fairly responsive while we were staying at the location, but other times it took several hours. Finally, the prior guests had some issues with the grill, which the host knew about, but failed to share with me that information or look at himself before my group moved in. When we tried to grill, only a third of the grill was working. This lead to a lot of wasted money on food we couldn't grill in a timely fashion for 16 people.

Beautiful and large apartment, great for entertaining (if we're doing that) and the host was accessible. Only-very modest-downside for the period we were there is the bars letting out at 2-4 am. If you're a light sleeper (some of our party), you might find yourself awakened by people exiting the bar, or going to the late night restaurant below. Otherwise, a great experience.

This is an all star property in Chicago! My friends and family were blown away by this property. Elegant, clean, and quiet while just a block from Wrigley field, restaurants, and great nightlife. We spent the majority of time on the properties rooftop deck. The view was spectacular as we watched Wrigleyville come alive on gameday. The deck made our group of fifteen seem small while we spread out to enjoy comfortable seating, a large dining table, grill, and firepit. The sound system was great and connected to speakers both indoors and out. On the inside, the kitchen had a seven person bar set up so we could talk and laugh as meals were prepared. There was a large refrigerator and separate freezer so space was not an issue. There were two dishwashers and a commercial icemaker that made entertaining so easy. You will not be disappointed with any of the amentities but maybe disappointed in trying to find another property like this in Wrigleyville.
