Everything about this house was amazing! We were like kids when we found the spiral staircase. The living area was comfortable and we loved the floor to ceiling windows. The morning view from the upstairs bedroom was breathtaking. The hot tub was perfect after a long ride and days of walking around. The kitchen had everything we wanted/needed for our sray. We plan to book this property again next year in both the summer for pool location and again in th fall.

Overall our stay was wonderful and we would definitely stay here again. Plenty of space and gorgeous views (not only for the mountains but we got to see multiple black bears too!) and the pool is right next door! The only downside was when we first arrived we had to do some cleaning because there was a mess on the floors and tables from some repairs that had been done and hadn’t been cleaned up. Also, the WiFi never worked during our stay which was a bummer for our kids at times despite a couple people coming to try and fix it which could’ve very well been out of their control with the internet provider. We were given a credit for that inconvenience however. All things considered we loved our stay and would highly recommend it to anyone!

The property sits at about 2,460 feet elevation so the mountain views are worth the price alone (especially during sunrise) but it's the layout that sold us on the home when reviewing online. We never did make it up to the swimming pool but the teenage boys certainly enjoyed the hot tub several evenings and once we figured out what switches controlled what, it became a lot simpler stay. My favorite room was the reading nook that can be accessed by both the main floor bedroom and the upstairs bedroom. Huge windows aplenty in this property, but the 180-views in that particular room was the most memeorable.The only issues we had with the property was the storm door "closer-mechanism" was broken and then the interior door handle fell off but the main door was safe and secure and the keypad worked great. Also, and we left this on another review, the upstairs bathroom fan needs replaced ASAP as it was obnoxiously loud and would wake up anyone (including our 3-year-old) trying to sleep.Would definetly make a return visit to BIRDSONG!!
