About this cabin rental
Just 5 miles from Minocqua - our cozy lakefront cabin is a peaceful, private getaway with easy access to town!
Our sweet lakefront retreat is a 2-bedroom, 1-bathroom, beautifully updated vacation rental with great outdoor space including a private dock, expansive deck with comfortable lounging furniture, table with 4 chairs, 2 oversized hammocks, gas grill and beautiful fire pit area . Direct access to Little Spider Lake!
The space
Enjoy your morning coffee with a view in our relaxing sun room with 2 separate seating areas. The main living space includes a 55 in. TV with Chromecast, Blue-Ray DVD player (with many movies), dining area and stocked kitchen. Brand new vinyl plank flooring was recently added to the sunroom, living room, kitchen and bathroom. (TV does not have cable/satellite service, but has movies to watch on DVD or BluRay!). Our WiFi is from StarLink a beta satellite connection. Because it is satellite you may experience brief periods of interruption. It's not ideal for Zoom or video calls but is a great fast connection and works well for streaming.
With direct access to Little Spider Lake, you can easily spend your day fishing or cruising the lake. 4 kayaks (including 2 fishing kayaks) and a paddle boat that seats 4 are all available for guest use! The lake is a fully recreational 225 acre lake that is home to Musky, Bass, Northern Pike, Crappie, Bluegill, Perch and Walleye. Please note there is no sandy entrance to the lake and our protected bay has vegetation. This home is also very close to the Vilas County snowmobile trail system. We have 2 adult bikes to use on the extensive trail system in the greater Vilas County area. Woodruff with restaurants, a wonderful brewery and shops is less than 5 minutes away. The heart of Minocqua with shops, restaurants, trails, etc. is 5 miles from the cabin.
The cabin sleeps up to 6 people, between its two bedrooms and a sleeper sofa in the living room. The first bedroom has a queen bed, the second bedroom has two twin beds and there are ceiling fans in both rooms.
Note: Wood-burning interior stove is not available for use.

Other things to note
Most weeks in peak summer months require a 7-night minimum stay, Sunday-Sunday.
There are sporadic dates available throughout the summer requiring less nights, see calendar for details.
Other times of the year require a 3-night minimum stay.
Kayaks, paddleboat, outdoor furniture, etc. not available from November - April (or when the snow stops!)

The property fit our needs for a couple nights. Fishing off the pier doesnt work so well. But went out on the kayak and hit 14 blue gills and 2 large mouth bass. Nice fire pit area. No air conditioning but it wasnt too hot at night

The cottage was perfect. Lots of nice touches by the owners. It was comfortable and incredibly relaxing. Thank you for a lovely vacation!

Grandson and I had a nice time fishing on the lake, caught lots of Bass, a few Perch, Pike and many panfish.
Cabin was comfy and clean, very satisfied with the owners communication. They we helpful and prompt.

We loved everything about our trip to this wonderful cabin! Everything was clean, the location was spectacular, and the cabin had everything that we were expecting. The only downfall about our trip were the mosquitoes, but we still had a lot of fun. Overall, we loved everything about our stay here!
