Perfectly sited on a quiet street, just a few doors from the Conanicut Yacht Club, a block from JB's on the Water at the Bay Voyage Inn and a short distance to town, this delightful 3-bedroom, 3-bath home enjoys an open first floor plan with a great room/fireplace, chef's eat-in kitchen with a spacious center island, dining area, light-filled sunroom and a work/desk area tucked away by the sunroom. The second floor offers an en-suite main bedroom and two guest bedrooms, one with a barn door and built-in work/study area that share a bath. An office is adjacent to the second floor laundry with two distinct desk areas and built-ins. A large front porch offers a covered sitting area and open dining area and the back yard has both a terrace off the living room and a small deck area off the dining room/kitchen. Available at $5,000/week during the summer or $3,800/month for academic year starting around Sept 1, 2023.

I whole heartily agree with previous reviews: great communication with the owner, nice house, perfect location. The owner was generous and attentive and she does live on the other side of the house which isn't quite clear in the listing. I thought maybe she was in a garage apartment or studio on the property. There is a door in the living room that leads to her living space and her office is directly behind the master bedroom. The house has all top quality appliances, linens, etc. and was very clean. The reason I am giving the house a four star rating is the comfort at night with the sleeping arrangements. One bedroom was unbearable, it had a window fan and ceiling fan, it was over 80 degrees in the room. The master has A/C that was okay but the room was so damp with humidity that it was quite uncomfortable. The last bedroom the A/C was really great. The downstairs got very little cross breeze when the windows were open and the ceiling fans were on. So everyone's tolerance level is different and this is only my experience. I would definitely recommend a stay depending on your own preferences. This house will go rented non-stop for a long time to come ;)

We had a great time staying at this beautiful house in Jamestown. Alyce is a lovely hostess and welcomed us like visiting family. The house is beautifully decorated and we enjoyed spending time in the living room. We also grilled and enjoyed the backyard. It was definitely a positive experience and we plan on coming back for another stay in the future.
