About this house rental
Duck Pond Lodge is a log cabin that sits on the large community pond at the foot of Wisp mountain. Here, at this special spot, you can fill your days with fishing, paddling, enjoying waterside meals, walks along the golf course, or strolls to Wisp Resort and other area dining which are under a mile away. The home features brand new furniture for your enjoyment.
Duck Pond Lodge features a great room with floor to ceiling windows, a gas fireplace, large tv and water views. Walk outside to the deck for a morning cup of coffee.
The kitchen is newly and fully equipped with anything you'd need to cook meals. The dining room and kitchen seat 12, with an additional covered dining for 8 on the back deck.
The primary bedroom on the first floor has a king, tv, bathroom, and access to a large covered deck on the front of the home.
Downstairs, you will find a cozy lounge area and game room with foosball and a multiple sports table where you can enjoy ping pong, air hockey, and pool. Lounge and watch a second large tv or relax by the gas fireplace and watch the water flow by. Two bedrooms, one king with tv, one queen with tv and a full bath round out the basement.
Outside, you will find a fire pit, swing, and brand new hot tub. This is a popular fishing hole, so bring your poles or borrow ours! There's plenty of room to spread out and relax along the shore.
On the upper floor, enjoy two bedrooms and a beautiful loft space. One room contains a king bed with tv and the other has a king/twin bunk and another full bathroom.
If you chose to get into your car and explore, Duck Pond Lodge is at a wonderful location centrally located to the shopping, dining, state parks, and boat rentals that Deep Creek has to offer.

We stayed a long weekend for family time. Booked this house because of pictures showing bunk beds and pool table, had neither. Dishwasher was missing bottom sprayer requiring additional washing. Also there were molded dishes inside when we arrived. The refrigerator would leak from bottom corners periodically. The basement reeked of mold and musty smells. The toilets were not cleaned there was a rim of mold inside each toilet. Ice tray was frozen solid from the ice maker not being turned off previously. Breaker would flip in downstairs bedroom from time to time. The master shower is old and drained very slow. Also not clean. Kitchen was not well equipped no pot holders, low amount of silverware and pots and pans. No broom or dust pan for cleaning. The fireplace in the basement does not shut off and there was hair on the sheets provided. The porch furniture was rickety as well as the stools at the kitchen counter. The upstairs bedroom was very warm even with the heat off. The large rug at the entrance was curled and a hazard. Positivity comments are it seems that the owners are working on updating the home. New carpet in the bedroom and basement. Loved the new kitchen sink and all the wood floors and beams. The house was clean except for the smell of mold and the broken appliances. The gas grill was great and the guys loved the access to fishing and the pond. The hot tub was nice enjoyed by all. The TVs and access varieties were good and appreciated.

Great trip. We got there and grabbed our poles and started fishing right away. The atmosphere was great and everyone was happy. My wife thought the outside could be a little cleaner but all in all, was a nice stay.
