At The Butchers is well connected to the city center by both bike (approximately a 20-minute ride) and public transport, with convenient metro and bus connections. It is located in a quiet neighborhood and is easily accessible, making it an excellent base for exploring the city.
The bed is located in a loft and can only be reached by climbing a ladder, which may not be the most comfortable option for everyone. However, we were aware of this before our stay, so it wasn't an issue for us.

Everything was fantastic, Neil and Merel were incredibly kind, attentive, and always quick to respond. The neighborhood feels truly magical, and the accommodation itself is just as charming. They thoughtfully prepared a guidebook with all the information we could possibly need, and the place was fully equipped with everything to make our stay comfortable. The area is wonderfully quiet, adding to its peaceful, almost enchanting atmosphere.

Our family of three had a great stay here. It’s cozy, but had what we needed. The location was great for us because it was in a quiet neighborhood but close to public transportation and a grocery store. The hosts reached out to make sure we had everything we needed and answered our questions quickly.

The location was excellent - down a beautiful residential street and close to the canal. We loved the view from the front window. There is a hot plate for cooking and plenty of fridge space. This is a great spot for a couple looking for a cosy base during a visit. Check in was easy and our hosts were very responsive, giving us local information and tips. It's an easy cycle to many local attractions so we were pleased to have the option to rent bikes from the hosts.
We happened to visit on one of the hottest days of the year and so it was very hard to cool down. The attic bed area can get quite warm. Other than that, it was great.
