I feel the owner is a very nice man, certainly was friendly and very available for texting and questions. I think he tries his best and for what he has to offer its not too bad. Depending on what your looking for in a room it might be right for you, nothing I can say is wrong with staying here.
I am writing this to explain what you are getting or what to expect. First off older house, but its sort of cluttered and doesn't feel like a rental more like your staying at a hostel type thing. I think there is like weekly or monthly people living in some rooms. Just walking in front door, living area is cluttered like someone's house , junk, stuff piled in corners, kitchen not cleaned looks like people live there. Next you go up steep stair case, must remove shoes at bottom of stairs, but carpet stairs full of dust, dirt sand. not vacuumed recently. Next you go up into loft area, again clutter, our room was Kingsview? I think? There is clutter , like 3 chairs, 3 lamps 2 deck tables a bed and some sort of small futon type bed. and tv. floors, baseboards old and not cleaned , dust, cob webs. The ceiling fan is just caked with dust bunnies. the sheets and pillows looked clean. Closet door hanging off track, and sort off no room to move with all the stuff. Would be impossible to clean everyday that much stuff properly. I am not saying place is very bad, but it certainly is more like a 2 Star room. its more for a night stay cheap, but don't expect much. We checked in at 3 pm, left at 330 to go to casino, so we there for 30 mins just to unpack and change. we arrived back at 3 am. tried to be super quiet as it states quite time in house at 11 pm til 7 am . we got upstairs and room next to us had tv on people talking. walls paper thin, traffic out side at night you can hear very clear. we took 15 mins to brush teeth and get into bed, and owner was up knocking on door of our neighbours telling them to be quiet, he left, ten mins later they turned tv back on and kept talking. We crashed no big deal to us. we got up at 10 gone by 1030, so we just needed a bed. I have traveled a lot stayed at many many 2 star motels. I am not a picky guy, but I am writing this just to warn some travelers, this is not for the wife and kids, or even a night with the spouse for...

right at VIA Rail translation which is very important cause it is much cheaper to book in advance so can't afford to miss train. Other than that it has Japanese bidet, scalding hot water, great privacy, low density, and right at the river with its parks xD

Bed was big and comfortable and walking distance to our venue - great view of the river as well.
