About this cottage rental
Pipers’ Shore Cottages are 3 cottages nestled on an acre and a half of private beach front property in picturesque North Truro. Our idyllic Beach Point location offers 120 feet of private beach on one of the nicest bathing beaches on Cape Cod. Our beach offers spectacular views of Cape Cod Bay, Long Point Lighthouse, and Provincetown. Pipers’ Shore Cottages are ideally situated to provide guests with a quiet comfortable home base close to many of the best vacation, dining, and entertainment opportunities the Outer Cape has to offer. Each cottage has a private deck or porch with amazing views where guests can relax and enjoy time with their families and friends. Guests looking to take in the natural beauty of the Outer Cape will be able to visit the nearby Cape Cod National Seashore and Race Point. Naturalists will find the birding at Beech Forest excellent or a whale watching trip exciting. Vibrant Provincetown is mere minutes away and can offer those interested in shopping many interesting shops and galleries. Foodies will find excellent restaurants and bars within a short ride from the cottages. Those looking for cultural events, music, or theater will be rewarded by many of the performances available throughout the season. Romantics will appreciate climbing the steps at Highland Lighthouse for beautiful views of the Cape or walking at sunrise or sunset on the unspoiled beaches. Those looking for more active pursuits will find that biking, water sports, hiking, and outdoor opportunities abound. Families will appreciate the nostalgic outdoor drive-in movies, miniature golf, and evening ice cream tastings together.
For your convenience, we offer three separate cottages. These can be rented individually or together for larger gatherings. Few properties in the area allow the degree of flexibility in terms of accommodations and the potential privacy that Pipers' Shore Cottages offer.
Driftwood is our most spacious cottage. It was built in the 1890s and is one of only a handful of the original homes left at Beach Point. It allows up to 8 guests to rest in three comfortable bedrooms and on a queen sleeper sofa in the living room. It is charming and adorned with period characteristics including a wraparound porch, wide pine floors and wainscoting. That is not to say it isn’t modernized and updated with modern appliances and amenities. The cottage has been recently updated and has many amenities that our guests desire. Driftwood is air conditioned and has an enclosed private outdoor shower. A gas fireplace allows for cozy evenings when the weather is cool. A washer and dryer is available for guest use.

I stopped my car after a long day of driving and opened the door to the smell of beach roses growing just on the other side of the fence. That welcome characterized our whole visit.The kitchen was clean and spacious. We stay in for most meals -- everyone likes to cook and we're good at it -- and cook for ourselves. Being able to have two people in the kitchen working is something we look for.The kitchen was well appointed and had all of the things we need. Not all rentals have a dishwasher -- this one does!The street out front was quiet; the beds were comfy; we arrived early in the season and only needed the A/C one day. The window units were working and did what we needed them to. The beach access was perfect -- quick walk on a nicely lit boardwalk that was easy on the feet in the heat of the day.The living area was spacious. and easily accommodated the six of us. Important when you never know if it will rain or not!It's a great location! Easy drive into Provincetown but not busy with steady traffic.I it's a minor thing but I can't say enough about in unit washer and dryer. I don't miss the years where we take a half day to do laundry. Clear, modern front loading. And quiet.

Beautiful cottage in a perfect location! This was our greatest trip our family has ever taken to the Cape by far. The house is charming and cozy but has such a great layout even for 6 adults (and 2 babies)! We cooked full meals in the well equipped kitchen (no grilling!) and enjoyed sunsets on the beach every night because it was just so easy to enjoy. Brice and Michelle were very respectful and responsive, and I was pleased with how they promptly resolved an issue we noticed when we arrived to the property. The outdoor shower was the best shower I’d ever taken in my life and made the fact there’s only 1 full bath no problem at all. The location can not be beat.. definitely bring a bike to enjoy it to the fullest!
