100 feet of private, sandy beach, & large deck overlooking East Grand Traverse Bay, make this waterfront cottage perfect for enjoying fabulous water views, swimming, world-class wine tasting, outdoor & vineyard adventures. Experience gorgeous lake shore sunrises from the cottage deck, spectacular sunsets at the scenic outlook, dark-sky stargazing, over 13 wineries & 4 restaurants, without ever having to leave the picturesque rolling hills of Old Mission Peninsula. This air-conditioned, Wi-Fi environment has dramatic soaring-high cathedral ceilings, and is perfect to just relax at all day and enjoy the charm of the cottage & sandy beach. Beds are high-quality & new, towels, bedding, sheets, soaps and shampoo, coffee all supplied. Kitchen has all appliances. Upper-level cottage loft area has large smart TV for streaming movies & DVD viewing, & single futon, & chaise lounge for enjoying a book, movie or nap. A quick roll-up of the rug turns this area into a great, light-filled spot to practice yoga. Two creme leather couches to get comfy on in living room, with wine shelf and glasses. Cottage environment is a perfect combination of contemporary renovations & vintage charm. High-quality water softening system for great drinking, showering (in the two full baths) & clothes washer & dryer. Lower level has King-size bed and walks out to beach. Beach towels supplied. Two car-garage with big driveway across the street great for additional parking and renter's boat trailers and personal watercrafts. Parking for two - three vehicles right in front of cottage. Per Local ordinances minimum 30 day rental period.

The cottage is perfectly located on the shores of East Grand Traverse Bay - right out the door. The cottage was very tastefully decorated and the furniture is very comfortable - as was the bed. Jo and Kurt are terrific hosts.

The owners were so accommodating and the house was in perfect condition, supplied with necessities and amenities.
Great location to the Old Mission peninsula wineries and restaurants. Look forward to a return!
