The stately 19th-century main building was completely renovated in the late 1990s and expanded with a modern addition in the style of seaside resort architecture. The Rügen vacation apartments are located in the addition to the building, which is situated on a quiet side street away from the main promenade.

If you’re looking for entertainment and a social atmosphere in the evening, you’ll have a great time at the Milchbock, right in front of the Haus Strandeck. The Milchbock is a cozy bar with pool tables and small slot machines, as well as live broadcasts of top soccer matches. Since the Milchbock is popular with both locals and vacationers, the bar is significantly busier during the summer months than in the early and late seasons. Please note that there may be some noise, particularly from guests arriving and departing.
