This vacation apartment at the Meeresblick Residenzen, awarded four stars by the German Tourism Association, features a bright and welcoming interior and offers a spacious living area. It is located in the Hagensches Wiek building, which is built on a hillside. As a result, the entrance is at ground level. The open-concept living area features a fully equipped kitchenette with a dining area, a sofa set that converts into a bed, and a smart TV. From here, you can step out onto the balcony, where you can see the blue Baltic Sea shimmering below. The vacation rental has two separate bedrooms. One bedroom is furnished with a double bed (180 x 200 cm) and spring mattresses (H3) with toppers. The second bedroom has two single beds (80 x 200 cm) with cold-foam mattresses plus toppers. The windows in both bedrooms are fitted with blackout blinds and insect screens. The sleeper sofa in the living area is ideal for an additional guest. The bathroom, which features natural light, includes a walk-in shower, two separate sinks, and a toilet.

The Baltic Sea resort of Göhren is located on the Mönchgut peninsula and is still deeply influenced by its fishing heritage. This nearly lost craft is showcased, illustrated, and explained in the museums in and around Göhren—a little journey back in time. In the surrounding small villages, such as Groß Zicker and Gager, you can buy freshly caught Baltic Sea fish from local fishermen almost every morning. On Mönchgut itself, there are well-developed bike and hiking trails. This means you can leave your car behind during your stay on the island of Rügen. If the return trip is too far, you’re welcome to take the bus or the “Rasender Roland” train home. It runs daily from the Baltic resort of Göhren through the Baltic resorts of Baabe, Sellin, and Binz to Putbus and back again.
