Amore Rentals - Villa Ligea

This beautiful villa has amazing views and is truly exceptional- we would definitely stay there again. We really liked the outdoor kitchen and dining area. Inside, the sitting room was my favourite room with incredible views. The concierge Lucio was very good and made great recommendations. The villa was well placed for days out to Pompeii, Herculaneum and Vesuvius, shopping trips to Sorrento, visits to Positano and the beach, and just over an hour from Naples Airport

Let’s talk about the roads. We had a BMW X5 and are used to driving on very narrow single track- the road to the villa was very challenging, despite this. Only drive if you are really confident - all the roads around Amalfi coast are windy, narrow and filled with locals driving round blind bends on the wrong side of the road. Parking spaces are not easy to find. Lucio (and many of the local attractions) are used to providing transport because of this.

We travel often and I must say that it is hard to come by a place where everything is done and maintained to such a high standard as in Villa Ligea. Beautiful villa with exceptional design, has all necessary appliances for a comfortable stay, immaculately clean on arrival and on top of that cleaned every day. Also, don’t be put off by the often mentioned narrow road - we arrived with an Audi Q7 SUV and had no problems manoeuvring at all in and out of the property daily. As long as you’re a confident driver you won’t have much trouble. Our host Lucio was very helpful too and arranged a great excursion for us.

The house is beautiful with amazing views over the coastline, and a very comfortable layout for a large group, with excellent facilities for cooking both indoors and outdoors. We had a severely delayed arrival for some of our group due to weather conditions near the airport, our host could not have been more helpful with getting them to the house, which we really appreciated considering the last minute nature of the problem. Thanks again for the help, and for everything else you did to ensure we had a lovely family holiday!
