Great Wellness Spa Hotel

We stayed at this wellness hotel in the Aosta Valley for our holiday, and it was the perfect choice after trekking in the area. The location is excellent—just 5 minutes by car from the trekking path, with a bus running every few minutes if you prefer public transport. Parking is available and free! The room was spacious, warm, and very comfortable, with a classic design complemented by modern amenities. Breakfast offered a wide selection, especially the pastries which were absolutely delicious. We also tried the dinner package at the hotel and it was such a great deal—the food was excellent! My husband ordered the spaghetti pomodoro, while I had the leek soup and veal, and everything was flavorful and well-prepared. The real highlight of the stay is the spa area. After a long day of trekking, being able to enjoy the sauna, steam room, and jacuzzi was pure bliss. The healing space with tea and the stunning views of the valley made it even more special. On top of that, the staff were incredibly helpful, knowledgeable about the area, and communicated very well, which made our stay even smoother and more enjoyable. Overall, this hotel offers both comfort and relaxation, with excellent service, making it the ideal place to recharge in the Aosta Valley. Highly recommended!

very little not to like but one comment is that the rooms though beautiful could be better appointed in terms of plugs beside mirrors in bedrooms . perhaps kettles and fridges in all rooms .

the location , the view , simply stunning the staff could not have been warmer more welcoming or accommodating . Our difficult dietary needs so well catered for and the food exceptional.

Perfect hotel in lovely surroundings.

Clean, comfortable and spacious room, nice bathroom and cozy common areas. Lovely spa facilities with a nice view, and great spa treatments. Varied and tasty breakfast. Nice restaurant with great food. Very friendly and helpful staff in both reception, restaurant and at breakfast, it is clear that they take pride in their work, which is lovely to see. The communication before we arrived was clear and they were helpful with both tips for activities and instructions on how to get to Cogne. Close to Cogne centre, maybe 5 min walk, which makes it easy to get the other little villages and hiking routes. Plenty of nice restaurants in the centre of the village, but would recommend reserving a table in advance! We are staying at several different places around northern Italy, and based on what I have seen so far hotel Madonnina is good value for money, especially when considering the quality of the service.

Mauvais rapport qualité / prix

Le petit-déjeuner est assez complet, le SPA est de bonne qualité avec des infrastructures qui fonctionnent bien. L'emplacement est bon. Ils proposent une planchette apéro de qualité si vous avez un petit creux avant le repas du soir et le coin d'attente au rez est appréciable. Le personnel parle parfaitement français pour le public de France et Suisse.

La literie de la chambre doit impérativement être revue. Nous avons pris une suite junior et avons passé une nuit catastrophique sur ces matelas et oreillers. Aussi, une veilleuse verte pour la sécurité incendie éclaire votre visage toute la durée de la nuit, sans compter que vous entendez tout ce qu'il se passe chez vos voisins. A ce prix, nous nous attentions à un standard beaucoup plus élevé. Le personnel, bien que polyglotte, n'est pas très attentionné et vous renseigne presque par dépit. Nous n'avons pas compris non plus pourquoi nous devions aller chercher un peignoir d'abord au SPA pour le ramener nous même en chambre, pour redescendre ensuite au SPA. Il suffirait de le mettre à disposition directement dans les chambres pour éviter toute cette démarche.

La dureté du lit, il y avait des packs massage qui ne nous ont pas été proposés par le wellness de l'hôtel. Le jacuzzi de la chambre suite privée était trop petit et les bulles pas assez puissantes.

Bella struttura in ottima posizione, con vista spettacolare e molto rilassante. Colazione eccellente, con ampia scelta di prodotti locali a km 0, freschi e ben presentati. Staff gentile e cordiale.

La stanza superior è risultata (a parer mio) un po’ essenziale: mancano ciabatte e accappatoio, il minibar un po’ scarno. In generale poca attenzione ai dettagli. Il letto troppo rigido, un topper migliorerebbe sicuramente la qualità del sonno.
