Abbiamo soggiornato in questa splendida struttura e l’esperienza è stata davvero molto positiva. Fin dal nostro arrivo abbiamo avuto la sensazione di trovarci in un piccolo castello, immerso nella tranquillità e lontano dal caos della città. La struttura era pulitissima e curata nei dettagli. Il proprietario si è dimostrato fin da subito estremamente cortese, disponibile e anche molto simpatico, facendoci sentire come a casa. Il luogo è perfetto sia per le famiglie che per chi desidera semplicemente staccare la spina e concedersi qualche giorno di relax. Sono presenti anche alcuni gatti che vivono nella proprietà, ma sono molto tranquilli, stanno per i fatti loro e non arrecano alcun disturbo, anzi contribuiscono a rendere l’atmosfera ancora più piacevole. Uno dei momenti che porteremo nel cuore è stato la sera in piscina: il silenzio, la pace e l’atmosfera che si respirano sono quasi surreali, sembrava di essere in un luogo incantato. È difficile descrivere la sensazione di tranquillità assoluta che si prova.

We only stayed two nights but the immersion in this secular house is worth way more than two days. The history of the place and the care for it that the owners clearly have encapsulates Sicily at its best. It was perfect as a location (with the car) as in half hour you reach Ragusa/Modica/Scicli/Punta Secca and Donnafugata(both the castle which is 20 minutes away and the wineries). Staying in the court allows you to have coffee by looking at the countryside and enjoying the stars at night in the terrace. The swimming pool is gigantic for the very few guests so I do want to come back and enjoy this place for longer.

I would have appreciated some toiletries (shampoo/shower gel) for the short stay! But other than that..wow

This is a gem of a place and could not have a better name because it is a true oasis in the middle of the beautiful Ragusan countryside. The old villa is as authentic as can be, with all the necessary commodities. The pool and terrace are amazing, as are the views all around. The hosts especially Placido are exceptional and really take pride in their property. The historical context added bonus value for me as I am a bit of a history fan ! Great place indeed and would choose to stay there again without a second thought.

This place is one of a kind. I really enjoyed the pool and the terrace. The countryside is simply breathtaking and the owner is really nice. If you want to plunge into the heart of Sicily and be surrounded by nature, this is the right place for you. I highly recommend it.
