The cottage was huge & we received an upgrade. Lots of added extras in the kitchen.bed was comfy.
The bathroom was tiny & had mould in it. Just a warning lots of steps up to the cottage.

Unfortunately, the host changed my booking at the last minute without first checking with me. I was “upgraded” to a bigger property next door. It was a nice property but it had a lot of steps that I did not want.

Close to quay. Warmth.
Cleanliness. Cobwebs everywhere. House needs a good springclean.
Very poor water pressure- showering difficult.

Could get the hot water to work but that might have been a mistake on our part.

We were upgraded to a larger property It was in the same location which was perfectly situated in the high street close to the quay The property was clean and had all the modern facilities in a traditional style Would recommend and visit again Parking just up the road at reasonable price

Self catering and the delicatessen around the corner sold the very best croissants so that was perfect!!
We were out all day so it was perfect for our requirements.

Location was good ,
Broken kettle lid, broken door handle, large stain on carpet , bedroom smelt damp, broken kitchen bin, filthy microwave. Chairs have had their day .
Outside table and chairs round the alley for our exclusive use very rusty . Delicatessen workshop next to bedroom and living room
windows slamming door all day. Extraction fan from delicatessens loud and on all day every day . Hot water hand wash in bathroom fuse taken out as runs electric radiator as well (out when we got there ) and if not taken out no cold water to brush teeth. Shower riser rail rusty . View of delicatessen overfilled bins . Just a lovely village but so sad property owner has let property out in the state it’s in . Couple of hundred pounds would sort the lot and at £500 for 4 nights they need to do the work .

it is in Blakeney! an amazing use of a tiny space…. the front door is the same size as I am! it certainly has character and was fine for a v short stay in good weather. it was ok for me and the dogs but v limited.
it is so tiny I would not go again unless it was much cheaper. the ‘kitchen’ work top is about 4ft high and 12 inches deep - I could hardly reach the ‘sink’, nowhere to prepare food, no instructions for ‘cooker/microwave/grill, dangerous two ring hob. I just used the kettle and the toaster.
there is no way you could sit outside on the rusty chairs in the tiny gravel yard shared with the deli staff (friendly, but going to their loo and smoking, and leaving their door open).

Nice being in Blakeney
Rather claustrophobic. Effectively no windows except looking onto the road and needed a light on all the time. Very small despite three bedrooms.

Position close to quay. Owners responded quickly to complaint about bedding. Looked quaint. Ok for short stay for 1 person as long as you didn't need to cook...which I didn't.
Overpriced. Bedding dirty and covered in dog hair. Cramped. Fusty smelling towels. Stained fabric furniture a bit tired.

The location
Very small and tight. Situated round lots of bins.

2 tvs. Arm chairs comfortable & bed very comfortable.
Some extra space on wide window sills.
Outside light.
Thick curtains.
Nowhere to park near cottage. Road very narrow and with 2 way traffic. Very hard to stop car, to load & unload without blocking road. Especially inconvenient, when weather bad at start and end of holiday, and one of us disabled!
Space in cottage inadequate for a couple, or for a single tall or disabled person, especially since one of us is disabled and the other is 6'0" tall! Lack of storage space and little room for more than 1 person at a time to use dining table.
Kitchen had basic cooking and refrigerator, but was very cramped, especially for someone around 6'0" in height. Hard to use sink without hitting head on light- as it is, I hit my head in other places too! Anyone over 6'0" would probably hit their head on the Kitchen ceiling and doorways too!
Water pressure very low in bathroom, making it hard to use sink- shower a bit better. Bathroom door hard to close properly.
Drawers filthy inside, so not used for storage.
Very narrow doorways and steps between rooms.

The keys were in the door and the door was unlocked. The place was empty on our arrival.
We did not stay at the one bed we got moved to the three bed above the Delicatessen. The beds were good the place was tidy. What let it down was the kitchen and bathroom cleanliness.
Cleanliness was very dissapointing. The white sink, cream bowel and toilet/bathroom sink looked so much better for some bleach that I took with me. The place looked like it had not had a thorough clean ceilings/floors/shelves and dishwasher. The sides of the door of the dishwasher were grim, it did not get used by us. Obvioulsy not had the deep clean even in these times of covid. I was dissapointed with that as I don't live like that at home and was not expecting to go and stay away in it. There was also a black bin outside belonging to the apartment below, full, smelly and maggots crawling over it. Not a good look. It was eventually collected on the Monday.

The cottage was filthy , shower just trickled out , we phoned first night for some help with something , number said no longer available , over all needs to be shut down for a massive deep clean ☹️

My chosen property was “upgraded” to a different one. It was in need of upgrading, everything was purple and dated. The prints were dreadful, Victorian style and dismal. The courtyard was
Unpleasant! Scruffy and grubby.
I was not informed that workmen would be putting scaffolding up outside my bedroom window or that they would be making a bloody racket drilling into the building.

The linen and bed were clean. The supply of hot water was good. It is a perfectly adequate size for 1 person... The cottage is reasonably sited, and not too far from the CP (£5.00/24hrs). With a bit of TLC it would be a great base for exploring that part of Norfolk.
The microwave and kettle were both poorly maintained. The microwave was too dirty to use. The door handle between the kitchenette and sitting area is broken. One of the 'easy' chairs is badly soiled (The chairs are different from the ones in your photo). The heated towel rail in the bathroom is unclean. (I do have photos to substantiate these claims, if you want them).

Fantastic location. Great for walking coast path. Very pretty quiet village. Quay 3 mins.
Heating had a mind of its own so had to turn it off. No instructions.
No instructions for oven.
Hot water turned itself off on last day.
Bed too soft and stank of air freshener.
Very old worn towels.
No welcome pack.
No welcome basket. Not that I want much but not even a pint of milk.

Great location with handy car park nearby.
The flat isn't spacious but this really didn't matter at all. There was no transistor radio for Radios 3 and 4/Classic FM.Nor was there at my next place, and for a few days doesn't matter really.
