Great apartment with a seaside view and a perfect location!

The room is a great size and the view is perfect. The apartment's location is great, too!

Despite the nice mattress, the bed sinks in the middle and we didn't sleep very comfortably. Also, the bed creaks loudly with every movement.

Luxury in Arabic style in the old town

It was a full apartment with a well equipped shared kitchen just outside. A large terass overlooking the harbour with afternoon and evening sun. Very nice in Arabic style.

It was just unfortunate that the coffemaker didn't work properly but it was fixed as soon as we made a notice. No cleaning in the room during our stay.

Great location in the old town of Kavali, right on the old castle wall with great terrace and view to the harbour. It’s close to very good restaurant, bar and gift shops. The checkin is easy.

The parking in the old town is not allowed, but you can park on a payed parking next to the harbour and walk 6-8 minutes.

Disappointing

The wifi was great, as was the location. It was easy to find and quiet. Communication with the host was faultess. I was grateful for the kettle, and the bottled water in the fridge.

Perhaps it was just my room, but the photos make it look much higher quality than it is. The furnishings have seen better days, and the mattress sagged in the middle. There was also a hair in my bed. This is just my taste, I suppose, but I found the purple messy paintwork in the bathroom and shower bizarre and off-putting!

Friendly and accommodating owner and staff -thank you! Superb location. Cleanliness. Peace and quiet. Nice little touches, like tea and coffee in the room -greatly appreciated.

The room we booked felt slightly boxed in - the units facing the sea must have been superb. We never managed to open the window. Mini fridge was quite noisy. Few things in the bathroom felt a bit off (i.e. sink). Overall, it felt like the specific room was slightly overpriced for what it offered.

A beautiful room in the heart of Kavala Old Town

The location is fantastic and the room is extremely comfortable. We loved the decorative touches and comfortable bed.

Communication was poor. The check-in information was not provided until 2:30pm on the day of arrival, despite the fact I sent a reminder the previous day, and they assured me it would be sent "in the morning".

Good location with spacious room. Good communication with the landlord.

You cannot park on the street and carrying the luggage all the way to the hotel is a bit a challenging. If you don’t have a lot of luggage it is totally fine.

Sea view

The view from the room was incredible. The bed was incredibly comfortable. Just to wake up to this view again, I would choose to stay here when I come back.

You need to go up and down stairs to access the building. I personally enjoyed entering an old house, but consider this if you are elderly or disabled.

Perfect atmospheric location for a stay in Kavala old town.

Great location for a short trip to Kavala - in the middle of the old town, and a short walk from the port. The decor and atmosphere were wonderful.

It was truly wonderful, but of course anyone booking it should be aware of the stairs involved. Travelling with a stroller or heavy luggage will be tricky. Still worth it, though!

Uncomfortable mattress, very noisy, we couldn't sleep until 3 in the morning as we could hear people walking upstairs.Walls are very thin. Confusing advert also, I thought I would get the room as pictured but I got the small one with "garden view" which has no light.

Our stay in late November was fabulous. Parking on the street was easy, the suite was immaculate and the Ottoman theme was fun. The views staring down on the port and the ferry terminal with the city off to the right were fantastic. Highly recommend. The hotel is next door to the $700-night Imaret, and the rooms are better here than there. However, you should pay to take the tour of the Imaret (it's a historical site), and Mohammad Ali's house and the ruins of Philippi are both tremendous if you like history.

All was perfect. Sounds from other rooms were minimal. We could hear some mild noise on the one night the neighboring room was occupied, but they did not bother us.

Maybe we should rather say that our flat was a huge disaster, so that we have a chance to find free dates in the near future. :-) But that would be a lie! We found the nicest and best accommodation imaginable: clean, beautifully designed, spacious and with a stunning view of the harbour and city. Our biggest thank to a great team that made our stay in Kavala unforgettable. We will definitely come again soon!

Beautiful atmosphere in the old town

Beautiful style and atmosphere. Extra large rooms. Great location. The Old town is a timeless spot full of history and architecture, right in the heart of the city but yet calm and peaceful

It does lack some nice communal space. There is a garden with sea view but it's closed for the sea view apartment only. Therefore it's far better taking one of the sea view rooms and skip the rooms on the back.
