About this house rental
Waterfront home with 3 bedrooms and 2.5 baths. Main level has kitchen, living/family room, and half bath, with wall of windows overlooking Long Island Sound. There is seating for six adults on the patio furniture, with tables for snacks, drinks, and casual eating, along with a rolling cooler for drinks.
Second level main bedroom has a queen-size bed and brand-new en-suite full bathroom featuring walk-in shower, double sink vanity, and toilet. Views of the water from your bed, as if you're on a cruise ship.
Second level also has a "flex" space hang-out area, as well as full-sized washer and dryer.
Third level has two bedrooms, along with the second full bathroom. The front bedroom has two full-size beds. The rear bedroom has a queen-size bed and twin-size day bed with pull-out trundle for children, along with direct access to the water-facing balcony with seating for four.
Rental comes with plenty of beach towels, bath towels, and bed linens. Kitchen has all appliances, plus coffee makers (drip and Keurig) and toaster-oven, as well as cookware, plates, cups, silverware, and cooking utensils for up to eight guests. WiFi extends throughout the house to the patio and upper deck.
At high tide the water comes up to the seawall and stairs; at low tide the beach is exposed and you can walk out to nearby sandbars and islands as well as other nearby beach areas below the high-tide waterline.

Jon & Carolyn’s waterfront vacation home has everything ( and I do mean everything) you need to create some of the most beautiful family memories. My parents ( who are in their 80s) walked through the door and could not stop commenting all through the week on how this amazing space was both beautiful and had so much attention to detail. They felt so much a part of each activity because it only required a few short steps to be on the patio playing a board game with the ocean as the backdrop, soaking up the sunshine, watching our grown up kids play wiffle ball at low tide, or taking in the multitudes of fireworks as we sat in the comfort of the patio. From breakfasts on the patio watching sunrise to grilled dinners & sunsets… we were in awe. The kitchen is well- appointed with every tool you need to entertain in style- right down to the Keurig which makes iced coffees ( so much fun) and the wheeled cooler that keeps your drinks ice cold on the patio within arms reach. The oversized patio umbrella was awesome and used frequently. The view from the top balcony is sublime…. Especially at night with the moons reflection on the water below. We loved the convenience of the outdoor shower & hose for rinse offs. The changing of the beach landscape from low/ high tide is super fun- at one point you feel like you are on a cruise ship surrounded by water and the next moment you have a private beach. Thank you Jon & Carolyn for the vacation that created forever memories!!!

Took our four grandsons here for a week and it was perfect. Location is great and the house worked perfectly for us. Owners could not be easier to work with

The property was clean. The floor in the master bedroom slants. There was no TV in any of the other bedrooms other than the master bedroom. The owner should provide a clock in the unit. There were none. The linens were not crisp; The stairs to the third level were steep and difficult.
