About this house rental
Our home is newly renovated with all new finishes throughout and is perfect for large families and friends to all gather. There is a large yard and lots of parking just 3 - 4 minutes walk to Long Sands Beach and the local surf shop and beachside restaurants. If you want to head to Short Sands beach, arcades and bars its just a little longer of a walk. This home sits between both beaches and just down the road from the Historic Nubble Lighthouse.
Our home is a brand new remodeled carriage house which sleeps up to 18 people. The fine touches are just now being made to the exterior with that modern farmhouse board and batten flair and all new landscaping. Entering the home through double wide doors allows the beach air to come right in to a large gathering and family room open to the kitchen, dining and a bar area connected to the outside deck.
The gathering room has seating nooks under each window, a beautiful gas fireplace, 65 inch TV and plenty of room for seating. This room connects to the open kitchen and dining room with a designated coffee bar and large island. Our home has a "bar room" which has a 50 inch TV and bar connecting to the outside deck with a slider to the deck. The first floor also has a full bathroom and washer and dryer to use when you come back from a busy day at the beach.
There is one bedroom on the first floor and three bedrooms on the second floor. The first floor bedroom has two queen size beds and a closet for easy access. The second floor has a bedroom with a queen size bed, a bedroom with a king size bed and a bedroom with 6 twin beds (and a peak a boo view of the ocean). There are also two brand new roll aways twin beds that can be added to any of the rooms. All of the bedrooms have TVs too!
The master bedroom has a walk in closet and a master bathroom with a walk in glass shower. The second floor has a large second floor full bath with a fully tiled bathtub. There is a game room on the second floor with a queen sized pull out sofa with a large screen TV and skylights. Our home also has a room with retro refridgerator, bar sink, large screen TV and living room area with views of Long Sands Beach. A "French door window" when opened allows the ocean breeze to come right in.

We had a wonderful stay! Stephanie is a communicative host. We were so pleased with the ample parking. The house is clean, beautiful and well equipped. The beds were comfortable (except for the two pull out mattresses). We were pleasantly surprised by the additional two cots with mattresses. The walk to long sands or short sands were very tolerable and my 5 year old was capable. We loved having the outdoor space to use for games or lounging on the deck. We are grateful for the memories we made here. This house is a treasure!

We had a wonderful multi-generational stay to celebrate my mother’s 75th birthday. The teens loved walking down Center to Goldenrod and the Strand for iced coffees. Adults loved Lulus at the Nevada, Stone’s Throw and Little Auk at the View Point - all walkable! Beach days are perfect and topped off with evenings by the fire pit after dinner. House had everything we needed and was adorable and comfortable (beach towels were great to have!) A wonderful week with family!

I'll start with the property. It truly is BEAUTIFUL outside and in. The location is fantastic - short walk to Long Sands beach. The house is well-stocked, and we did A LOT of cooking in the kitchen. Stephanie has all the appliances you need. The beds are comfortable. There are TVs in every room. The couch is comfortable as well and great for movies on bad weather days. The back deck has furniture and firepit and was easily our favorite spot to hang out. This house truly has everything you need, is beautiful, and has the best location. I cant wait to go back.As for Stephanie, I couldnt have asked for a better host. She was so sweet and kind. She met us to give us a tour of the house and amenities at check-in. She was super responsive to all of our questions prior to arrival. She knew it was my birthday and even went the extra mile to leave me a birthday card! The thoughtfulness, attentiveness, and organization was top notch and one of the best experiences Ive had renting. Stephanie, thank you for everything. We had such an incredible time, and I'll never forget it!
