Very enjoyable as I was reliving my childhood holidays at Abersoch , the cabin was ideal for us and definitely value for

Spotlessly clean, nice quiet location, everything needed was provided, loved the shower,beds nice and comfy ,overall a very pleasant stay.

Just a few minor issues working out how to operate the stove top, couldn’t sort out the wifi connection either but those were the only two irritations,

Family road-trip through scenic Wales

It was easy to check-in and could park in-front of the property on the grass. The cabin was spacious, and the DVD collection was a great way to enjoy movie nights as there was no functioning Wi-Fi. We enjoyed using the gas bbq on the first night!

Unfortunately, there was no functioning Wi-Fi available during our stay. With a 15-year-old daughter in tow, it was especially challenging to manage without internet access.

Fabulous!

Lovely spacious cabin. The rainfall shower is amazing, and the bed was like sleeping on a cloud! Lovely touch enjoying some cookies and crisps upon arrival. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay, we'll definitely be back in the summer!

Cosy and Quiet

Excellent host Gina was lovely made us feel very welcome. The cabin is large and had x2 bedrooms the double bed was very comfy and the room was very cosy. TV had netflix, etc, and a well equipped kitchen. The captins Hut was very clean, and the bathroom was very modern. Beautiful views. Very quiet, not far into Abersoch.

-The shower was fantastic when it was on but it had a timer of 5 mins until cut off. 20min wait for it to be ready again. Having long hair proved to be a nightmare. -Captins Hut is directly opposite hosts house in there back garden I personally felt overlooked. - To have a cigarette/Vape you need to go to the front of the house as it wasn't permitted in the garden and neighbours don't like it.

Simply beautiful

Our 2nd stay here and we were welcomed once again by the fabulous Gina. A beautiful location and a cosy warm cabin made our stay most enjoyable.

A few issues with the shower as it was newly installed but just teething problems. Gina was very apologetic and pulled out the stops to rectify the issue. Although the cabin is quite well equipped, I think it's missing an iron, especially with my rubbish packing. Nonetheless, these are relatively minor issues and would definitely recommend staying at The Captains Cabin.

Apart from the lighting all was fine

Everything was fine

The lighting could have been a little brighter, the bathroom mirror needs to be over the sink and a light fitted above the sink as I found it difficult to shave, half my face was in darkness.

Absolutely lovely place to stay. Clean and tidy. Loads of entertainment provided from dvds to books and games. Every bit of kitchen equipment you can think of its there. Julia (host) is such a lovely person absolutely not intrusive but attentive. Great value for money. Close to everywhere to see and do things. Bed in master bedroom is very comfortable.

Lovely cosy cabin in a stunning part of Wales

We had a fantastic stay in this lovely cabin. It was very cosy and comfortable. It was so nice that we were keen to get back to cook in the evenings rather than eating out! It felt really homely, charming and quirky. It was great to have a bath as well as a shower, especially with kids. Julia couldn't have been more helpful. She gave us excellent advice on places to visit. Her neighbours were also lovely! The location was very peaceful with amazing views of Cardigan Bay from the front of the house. The local area was stunning. The cabin is located behind the host's house but still felt private. We had only booked for two nights as part of a longer trip and were sad to leave!

It was very comfortable and clean.

Too far to walk to any bars/restaurants. Not that we could get booked in anywhere as all fully booked so had to cook every night. There was a bbq to use on terrace, never used as weather not great. All in all enjoyable stay with some great walks. Walked to Abersoch and back about 40 mins each way.

Amazing stay!! Would definitely come back!

The cabin was a lot bigger than expected! So clean and spacious, with all the amendments you could possibly need for a holiday! The location was perfect! You could see the beach view from a far! There was a lovely 10/15 minute walk from the property to the top of Abersoch with stunning views! Julia left us a bag of fresh fruits and even gave us a bottle of bubbly for our anniversary! Such a lovely stay! Julie was an exceptional hostess! Thanks Julie!
