For the price, the room and shared bathroom were very good. The kitchen facilities were first rate The Owner, was eentually friendly.

My arrival was almost catastrophic!!! I spend 2 hrs trying to find out how to identify my room and get in. It turns out that both the phone number and email provided for this property were outside Australia. I could get no response from either. The Emergency number provided for booking.com also did not work (perhaps also overseas).That made me think that I was a victim of a scam. So my next step was going to be visiting a police station. Starting to have a diabetes HYPO (due to delay in eating) I went to a nearby resteraunt where the waitress said they get lots of people arriving there having not been able to get into that room. An extremely helpful resident of the tower block was able to successfully ring the provided (overseas) phone number and arrange for an email with entry process info to be sent to me. So I was finally able to get in to my room, 3 hours late. Multiple key-pad locks, rathere than keys made it hard to enter and leave for most of my stay, until I could remember the different protocols for each lock entering and leaving. The Owner insisted the problems were only due to my incompetence. I recommend older people seek accommodation elsewhere. The Owner promised to improve the situation for older guests. Hopefully he will.
