Great location to explore this part of Portugal. Access to Porto from zone 5 on the Metro and the local stations have free parking (35 minutes and less than 3 Euros one way), about 60k drive south to Aveiro and an hour and half up to the really beautiful Geres National Park. Of course, absolutely fantastic beach on the doorstep (with surfing if that's your thing), and within a mile walk there's a nature reserve area and shops in Areia including an excellent fishmonger & bakery. About 25-30 minutes walk into Vila Do Conde with bars and restaurants and 25 minutes drive from the airport. Apartment was straightforward but comfortable with a good balcony, spacious and clean and everything we needed. Really liked it. Bruno who looked after the place was proactive in arranging to meet us to get access and very helpful.
Would've been good to have easy access to a washing machine but we just packed more!

Amazing location, 2 mins walk to the beach and rent a surf board place. The pool in the complex was lovely and never too crowded. Apartment very spacious and clean. It had everything we needed.
