The Viewpoint is cradled by natural wildlife, for bikers, walkers, and hikers you will be spoiled by a National Treasure the C&O Canal and The Potomac River, located literally in the backyard. The Viewpoint offers the Potomac Canal towpath for biking, walking, and hiking which extends 184 miles from Cumberland Maryland all the way down to Georgetown.
If you loved riding your bike as a child, and if you love getting exercise, and if you love taking in wildlife while in their natural setting, you are in for a treat! With no stop lights or hills on the C&O canal towpath, enjoy our touring bikes made by Specialized, which are provided for your enjoyment.

So, why no reviews?! We JUST got on VRBO. This home is a new build and for the last year, we have rented this place out on another booking site. Here is a review for this property, from the other booking site we have used:
"The Viewpoint property FAR EXCEEDED our expectations. The pictures simply did not do the property justice. The interior was immaculately designed, with intricate and interesting pieces that cultivated a peaceful and home-like feel. The neighborhood is quiet and serene. Large windows on every floor saturate the house in natural light, allowing for full views of the Potomac River and wooded scenery all around. A large deck off the main level is great for outdoor family time or peaceful reflections over a book, with the sounds of nature and singing birds in the backdrop. Our son loved exploring all nature had to offer in the surroundings. Privacy is easily achieved in this location, with a highly functional layout prime for large groups or families. There are separate laundry facilities in the basement and upper levels, as well as a game and yoga room downstairs. The bedrooms all have thoughtful themes and exceptional bedding allowing for a great night’s rest. The chef’s kitchen is a wonderful gathering space, with a double sized island and ample seating for family congregation around lovely meals. The bonus of the experience at Viewpoint was exceptional customer service by Horizon Management, who was responsive to all of our needs in exceptional time. Our family was expecting a baby during our time at Viewpoint and there is absolutely no greater place we could have chosen to welcome our bundle of joy."

The Viewpoint is an incredible property! The property managers have thought of everything you could possibly need or want for a relaxing experience. The Viewpoint is pet friendly, family friendly, clean, and absolutely perfect! We stayed for three months while we were doing a house renovation and it could not have been a better experience!! The location just above the C & O Canal is unparalleled! We walked the Canal tow path several times every week and experienced the wonders of nature – wild turkeys, blue herons, turtles, and much much more ! My family and I highly recommend the Viewpoint!!

I'm an interior designer. I booked viewpoint so I could photograph pillows that I sell. The home is serene, it's beautiful in appearance inside and out- and the view is incredible. 20 minutes from DC, this would be a perfect place for a work retreat or for a family that was looking for a quiet place to stay or work. I was comfortable staying here due to the safe and upscale neighborhood. When my nephew visited, we did not have to worry about the street- since the home is basically in a culdesac at the end of a quiet neighborhood road- and a long ways away from the main street. The management were a small business/family business who genuinely cared about our stay. They left us a gift when we arrived to welcome us. I never had any concerns. The management sent a snow plow out quickly after it snowed to ensure that the grounds were safe for me and my family- without prompting them or asking! The grounds were kept up nicely- the grass was cut and no overgrown weeds or anything like that. We were so grateful for a wonderful trip with zero hiccups. Would recommend to anyone on VRBO- and to all my friends and family! You cannot go wrong staying at viewipoint.

We absolutely loved our experience at Viewpoint! The management is absolutely superior and was always responsive to any question that we had. Their directions for check-in are extremely organized and helpful. Our company had a small retreat at Viewpoint. Everyone loved it. From the themed rooms, to the comfy beds, to the amazing view… We were all comfortable and truly in heaven. If you are thinking about booking a stay here, just do it, and do not even think about it!We are so happy with our experience and will definitely be coming back again and again.

The Viewpoint is an amazing property. It doesn't feel like a sterile short term rental, you will feel like you are at home.
The property is in excellent condition and just as described. The management team are truly excellent, they are always available for questions or advice, if you need anything it is taken care of right away.
Location is superb, its a lovely neighbourhoods in an exclusive DC suburb. You can get to DC or VA in 20 minutes. Just five minutes away you have two supermarkets, pharmacies, sit down dining, fast food, cafes, barber, gas stations, pretty much anything you may need on a daily basis. 15 minutes away you have movie theaters, malls, pretty much anything else you may need.
My family loves all the greenery and the wildlife that comes though every day. Always nice to just stand and enjoy the views.
If you are looking for a home to stay in with a central location but a quiet secluded vibe you couldn't chose a better place to stay.
I have been renting properties (mostly 1 month +) for years and I can say with full confidence that the team in charge of the Viewpoint is the best that I have ever dealt with. They are courteous, prompt and welcoming.
Don't think twice, go ahead a book.
