The Gem Hotel

Very well positioned, modern, clean, great restaurant. The staff though were truly amazing!!!

Not so many amenities however we did not book for a holiday so it was perfect for the 2 nights we were there.

Did not have breakfast there. Room was spacious & quiet. Hotel was in excellent location - very central for our needs.

We would've liked to have dined at the restaurant but thought it was way too expensive. Perhaps some smaller, more casual meals could be added to the menu. Perhaps some more information on restaurant breakfast & dining room menus etc could be left in the room.

No breakfast available unfortunately

we were locked out of our room right on 10am and we were still collecting our baggage

The hotel room was lovely and clean. Staff were friendly. Hotel bar was also good.

There is a pub right across the road that is open until 2.30am and you can hear the live music clearly. On the first night I was woken by loud music and people. On the second night when the pub closed at 2.30 I looked out the window and there must have been over 100 people in the street. If you want a good nights sleep do not stay here. Also the shower runs very hot and then cold so be careful. Also our room was not serviced until 3.30pm in the afternoon. We were told that there were a lot of check outs and they take precedent over guests already on site.
