A peaceful, comfortable end to a long period of holiday travel.

Friendly management. Clean. Great view from balcony. Quiet. The port of Lefkimmi is conveniently close, with connections to Igoumenitsa on mainland and some tour boats eg to Paxos and Antipaxos. Very welcome that there was a washing machine after 9 weeks of travelling with few easy opportunities. A very good massage was available to order at a very fair price.

It's a little isolated and the surrounds have a gently neglected feeling. Ubers cost a lot to anywhere. However Alois the proprietor is willing to help with transport when he can. We were willing to do some walking but if you are not then it would work best if you have a hire car. The public shuttle bus is rather tedious but if you book the pickup with Alois it would be quicker and a reasonable price for the distance.

Some people say you need a car, but we did not personally. There is a great little shop for essentials 100m away. 10m walk for breakfast at the port (or just buy butter and cheese for the fresh bread delivered daily), and 20m walk there are a number of restaurants. We walk everywhere so no issues for us.

Clean, spacious, and comfortable apartment. We liked having a separate living room area. There were different seating options on the balcony. We made good use of the lovely swimming pool (although I found it a bit difficult to swim in a straight line!). The garden area around the swimming pool is lovely. Nice communal courtyard area. Alois works very hard to keep the apartments and grounds well maintained. Good base for taking the boat over to Paxos from Lefkimmi (free parking at the port, adult foot passenger €15 each way).

Amazing, beautiful, relaxing… we will 100% be back

Perfect area for avoiding the tourist hustle… hire a car though (book through the super helpful host Alois for a good deal - at dropped off and picked up from the property so no hassle). Rooms are nice, clean with everything you need but we either ate out or ordered in from one of the local tavernas most of the time (again… Alois ordered for us). There’s a local beach 10 mins walk away which seemed mainly used by the locals - there’s no shops or bar/eatery and no sun beds or umbrellas either but Alois has umbrellas to borrow if you fancy it… just pack food and drinks to take along. If you fancy a more touristy beach outlook, Alois offers a daily beach run to Bouka beach just the other side of Lefkimmi - drop off at 11am picking up at 4pm - perfect. There’s a decent bar/restaurant there with sun beds AND Alois has negotiated free beds for his guests (3rd row and back.. but fine) with a special pass. Make sure you’re there on a Wednesday!! Barbecue night… Alois takes guests to a local market with butcher to get your chosen meat etc. for the occasion… the port souvlaki and chicken skewers were amazing and all cooked by Alois for you. The Ouzo will come out too - I remembered the following day why I don’t drink ouzo any more!! All in all what made the whole 10 nights the best was the hosts. Alois is amazing and looks after each guests individual needs… nothing is impossible.

We had a courtyard view room at the front of the property… got a little noisy at times when sitting out on the balcony at night.

Unforgetable experience

Appartments are very comfortable and well equipped. Beautiful garden and pool area, very good location with parking spots. The biggest advantage of staying in Anemomylos are hosts who are amazing, warm and helpful people who will make sure your stay is unforgetable.

A gem of a place in a beautiful, quiet part of Corfu, away from the bustle of the north

This is such a wonderful setup. Run as a family business, with just 8 rooms, the atmosphere was quiet and friendly. The whole place was kept to a very high standard, and any difficulties were immediately rectified by Alois, who was friendly and helpful but unobtrusive. Alois runs a daily shuttle to the local beach where his guests have free use of most of the sunbeds. The pool is magnificent, and the bbq run by the family every Wednesday was the perfect end to our holiday. The interactions between all the guests were so friendly, despite apparent language barriers, with everyone kindly making the effort to speak English as the common language. Some of the beaches nearby are excellent - shallow, sandy, and clean. We especially liked Gardenos beach, just up the coast, which was quieter than others. We would strongly recommend this accommodation in an unusually as yet undeveloped and peaceful area of Corfu, despite its apparent proximity to Kavos.

There was some road noise during the day as it suits back from the main road, although not a main road as we know them in the UK! This was never a problem at night or in the mornings and didn't disturb us at all. It was also a 20-minute walk into the small village of Lefkimmi for dinner.

A*** accommodation and estate - with truly wonderful hosts!

Truly excellent smaller resort with superclean and well-equipped apartments, beautiful and well-kept garden and pool area - all like new and fully up to highest international standards. The hosts have been truly remarkable - wonderful pople who are really passionate about you having the best possible stay with them - and this worked indeed! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Peaceful relaxing stay at ANEMOMYLOS

Everything about our stay was wonderful. The hosts, Alois, Connie & Frederika were very welcoming, sharing their knowledge on the area & really helpful to my son to soothe a patch of sunburn. The accommodation was perfectly clean & spacious, the weekly BBQ nights hosted by Alois were a highlight and were a lovely way to meet the other guests. I would absolutely recommend ANEMOMYLOS as a lovely relaxing holiday. In my opinion a car is needed to fully enjoy exploring the area.

Superb

Very nice facilities and great welcome from the owners. The apartment is very well maintained and there is a big garden and swimming pool. There are many restaurants and supermarkets in the area. Also there are beautiful beaches 10min from the apartment, like Gardenos Beach. I highly recommend this place.

Can be a bit remote from the attractions in the north of the island. But honestly I prefer the south of the island as it is much more laid back.

Exceptional workation time with the family

We had 2 weeks (the last 2 weeks of September) of great workation from this hotel. The pool is the biggest advantage. Despite the fact that this September was cold we still spent time in the pool. Next year they plan to have a heating, that will be just awesome! Fingers crossed. The room was clean and well equipped and has everything you need for cooking. No dishwasher in the room. The hotel has a huge kitchen near the hotel and a washing machine onsite. Each week there is a meeting party, where everybody can get to know each other. Alois is preparing meat that you bought in a market. Alois will arrange this also. Also, there is an option when the owner drives you to a beach in the morning and in the evening takes you back to the hotel. Thanks to the owner Alois, we rent a car and took a boat trip. The car rental was the cheapest in the region. The boat trip on the yacht was the best that we had during workation, it was a bit expensive (50 eur/person), but it was worth the money since you are only 20 people on the yacht. From the bottom of our hearts, we wish to stay healthy for Conny, Alois, and Federiki!

Take into consideration that the region is near the port, so not many good beaches are nearby. Better to rent a car. and visit Gardenos or Isos beach (probably the best one). It's a bit far from the nearest cafe, 20-25 minutes on foot. Minor one: WiFi was not as good for work, for 2 working remotely people it was challenging because the connection was unstable, but not critical.

Exceptional

We had a very nice time, the hosts are very friendly and hardworking people. Alois gave us a complete tour of the property and some suggestions of beaches and restaurants in the area. There is also a guide made by them in the apartment. The apartment was on the second story with a nice view, and there is an open veranda for all the apartments but each one has its own space with a set with table, bench, umbrella and clothes rack. It was a nice place to stay in the evenings and play games 😜 The apartment is new, modern, comfortable and nicely decorated. The wifi was the best we ever had in Greece and the fact that there is a receiver even at the pool, was helpful because we had some work and we could do that and also have a splash in the pool. The wednesday greek barbeque was a nice ideea and Alois makes delicious souvlaki 😉 There was also a fresh bread delivery service that we used and the bread is very good. Even if the location is in the less touristic area of Corfu, we discovered some beautiful beaches in the area (Mikro Nisi, Gardenos, Marathias, Issos).

Two chilled out weeks amongst the olive trees

From my balcony there is a great view towards the water where you can see all the sail boats and ferries sail by and you see the mainland on the other side. Eating breakfast on the balcony was great and in the evenings it was nice to hang out there also. The bed was very comfy, there was an air con in both the bedroom and the main living area. Some days I walked down to the port (500 m away) where there is a really nice coffee shop where they roast their own coffee and serve nice breakfasts, just beyond the port there are a number of small beaches. However Alois is a super host looking after all very well, he took us to different beaches each day - Gardenos was my favourite and Mikro Nisi is also very good. Once a week Alois organised a fantastic bbq where he cooked souvlaki to perfection! Having the port close by was handy, one day I took the ferry to the mainland, the ferry over takes about an hour and was a pleasant trip. Another day I took an excursion to Paxos an Antipaxos. The restaurants in Lefkimmi are about a 15 to 20 minute walk away and are very good. Kavos is about a 45 minute walk away with a very large number of restaurants. The swimming pool area is very peaceful to hang out in, surrounded by many olive trees.

Exceeded expectations!

When we arrived at the property we couldn’t believe how nice it was! the pictures don’t do it justice! impeccably clean and maintained. Hosts were amazing, Alois’ mom made everyone dinner one night. The property used to have a restaurant which is now just a fantastic commercial kitchen available to all of the guests to use! the pool and pool area were lovely, located in the olive groves. 50 min from the airport, quick easy drive. Alois also offers airport transfers and has a nice newer van. do t hesitate to book this property!

The accommodation was clean and modern. The owner was pleasant and helpful. Near to Kavos Port where there are regular ferries to Paxos and the Greek Mainland.

The apartments are not serviced. Those on the top floor are only accessible by a steep external staircase which would be problematic for families with young children or anyone with mobility issues. Our double bed was provided with two single sheets which we did not find satisfactory or comfortable.

This is not a typical apartment complex, but just a large building with spacious apartments. The apartments are well equipped to make you feel at home. The kitchen has almost everything you need - a large refrigerator, a stove with an oven (we did not use the oven), a microwave (we did not use it), a filter coffee maker (we did not use it), a toaster, a water heater, and there were some other appliances that we did not used. Almost enough any dishes for all typical occasions. The pan didn't have a lid (I used a pot lid though it doesn't fit well but that solved the problem), didn't have an opener but I had my own with me, had three small vegetable knives but none a little bigger one with which it would be more convenient. And those are the only drawbacks I noticed. Very good WiFi, which was important to us. Unexpectedly, a beautiful clean pool with a well-equipped area - sunbeds and umbrellas, a shower, a lot of space and a dedicated WiFi hot-spot, which was just great. Some days we had to work remotely, and the excellent WiFi plus the pool didn't let us completely ruin the holiday. The location is great if you have a rental car (we had). To Gardenos beach (spacious, there are taverns, sand, very shallow for a long time, great for children) 10-15 minutes. There are three supermarkets along the road (one of them is Lidl), all on the right if you drive from the beach. And at the crossroads, very close, 3 minutes walk, a kiosk where you can buy something, mostly drinks. If you go further, then there will be Lefkimia, a small Greek town with taverns, ~30 minutes walk, but still achievable, we went a couple of times as an evening walk. We spent two weeks at this place, towels changed twice a week, full cleaning with linen change once a week, which is reasonable. Completely satisfied with our choice of this place.

Fantastic stay!

It was fantastic stay at these appartments! The apartment was fully equipped, everything new and modern, spacious, very clean and well maintained. Everything looks like in the photos and even better. Kitchen had everything you needed - coffee machine, toaster, electric kettle, oven and even egg boiling machine! Windows had shutters and retractable mosquito net blinds, but we encountered no mosquitos during our stay. Lots of private car parking space out front. This holiday was exceptional because the owner Alois and his wife. They made us feel that we were staying with own family members rather than as guests, so genuine and warm was the attention we received. They have exceptional tradicion - once at week they made barbecue evening for guests. Everyone brings meat, vegetables or smth for grilling and Alois make it on the fire. We had fantastic evening! They made some salad for every guests, we shared our food and taste some tradicional greek spirits :) In the morning you can order fresh and warm bread directly from local bakery! It was really tasty and crispy! We will definitely return and highly recommend these apartments to anyone seeking a truly memorable place to stay in Corfu!

Exceptional place, exceptional hosts. This is our new go-to place whenever we go to Corfu

I really don't know where to start. The moment we arrived we were instantly greeted by Alois, our host who was very friendly, and a very kind. He offered help with our bags, and took us on a small tour of the outside and inside of the place. The accomodation looked impressive since not only that it was all new, but also done in a very stylish, tasteful, modern way with attention to detail both inside and outside. He made sure we knew everything we needed with our room and accomodation. Later we met Kony, his partner who is always smiling and positive , happy to hang out when she is not busy with work around the place. Frederiki, Alois's mother also keeps busy with helping around making sure the place is clean and that everyone has clean towels, clean clothes and a smile on their face. The moment we arrived , we felt welcome and everyone around the place made sure that our stay was as pleasant as possible. Anemomylos is a place with soul, not only by how the accomodation is designed and you can clearly see the attention to detail, but also the hosts who take this place from amazing to truly exceptional. This is why whenever we go back to Corfu, this will be the choice in the future -The place was excellent, stylish with great care put into details. Alois is a hard working person, and wants to make sure everything is top notch -The hosts were amazing, always friendly and always helpful with whatever and whenever we needed something -The room was clean, very recently renovated and it really felt like a second home. Good sound insulation too. -The pool was very nice, even though they didnt include it in the listing at the time since it wasnt finished so it was a very pleasant surprise As someone who works on my laptop, I can say the place felt very secure to leave any belongings in the room, the WIFI / Internet was at a decent speed(its still an island) but very reliable which is more important.

Tout! La gentillesse des hôtes, la beauté du site, le logement fonctionnel est fonctionnel et propre . O experiență memorabilă

Totul a fost minunat, dar cel mai mult mi-a plăcut barbeque -ul de miercuri cu toți oaspeții hotelului. Pe lângă faptul că am cunoscut oameni noi, ne-am distrat ca și când ne cunoșteam dintotdeauna. A fost o petrecere minunată! Iar Connie și Alois sunt gazdele perfecte! Recomand cu căldură acest loc!
