The spacious kitchen is outfitted with everything you need for a large group to cook or dine in, including 2 coffee makers, 2 refrigerators, and high-end appliances and kitchenware. The expansive back yard is ideal for relaxing or entertaining, with a pristine 35-foot pool with sun shelf and hot tub, a paved basketball court, hardscaped yard games area, fire pit, hammocks, and a grill and bar space with plenty of seating and an outdoor TV.

The Hill Country Hideaway was better than advertised! We came with 14 guys and had more rooms, beds, bathrooms and overall space than we needed. The backyard was my favorite part of the house. It is the perfect to relax and hang out with friends/family. I could not be happier with this rental and would definitely recommend staying here!

We stayed here for the 4/8/2024 solar eclipse that would be visible from the backyard. We had a very hard time finding a place in our price range because everyone was jacking up the prices (understandably) for this once-in-lifetime event. Even at 4x the regular price, this place was in the median for what we were seeing, so we snagged it and then waited a year for our trip!
There was a lot of planning and logistics involved, so we were very happy that Walker Luxury Rentals made everything on their end so easy for us. It was nice to not have a huge list of chores on checkout day. I guess they stay pretty booked, because someone was there right at 11 to start cleaning, so be aware that checkout time is very rigid. But otherwise, the stay was so relaxing and we loved the pool and hot tub! Lots of space for our group of 17 to eat and drink and play games all around the house. A close drive to H.E.B. and a number of good breweries and BBQ places. Only 30 minutes to downtown Austin. Would absolutely stay here again, especially at the regular price. :)
The other thing they are very serious about is quiet hours. They start at 10 pm, so plan accordingly. It's because of how much sound travels in the area. It's pretty crazy how much it does. You can hear voices from several blocks away. But the windows and doors are thick enough so you can still be loud inside the house. If you're with a big group, plan accordingly. If you follow all the rules, you will have a terrific time here.
