About this house rental

Bright, newly updated, and beautifully decorated East Hampton 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath located in the Northwest Woods section of East Hampton. Corner .5 acre lot with a heated pool on a quiet street, home is perfect for 1-2 families with children or 3 couples without children. 10 minutes from ocean and bay beaches and 8 minutes from East Hampton Village. Short drive to Sag Harbor, Amagansett, Montauk and Southampton.
Entering the home via key code door into a well-appointed entry way, you will find hooks and a console table with storage for your hats, sunscreen and other beach items. The center hall opens up into a vaulted ceiling double height living room with 2 large and comfortable couches, ceiling fan, fireplace, and tons of light coming in from the 2 skylights and double sliding doors to leading the back deck, yard and sparkling blue pool. Completing the picture is an over-mantle mounted 55” 4K smart TV that pulls down to perfect viewing height for movie night. From almost every vantage point on the first floor, you can see the backyard pool area.
Heading outside onto the large deck and pool patio, you will find cushioned dining and lounging areas with cantilever umbrellas overlooking the 40’ X 20’ heated pool with lounge chairs, umbrellas, and lawn. There is also a 4-burner propane grill and a swing/slide set for the kids. On the side of the house is an enclosed hot/cold outdoor shower with changing area.
Back inside, the dining area seats up to 10 next to the fully equipped open kitchen with a breakfast nook, bar counter, stainless induction range and fridge with icemaker and chilled, filtered water.
The first floor powder room (half bath) is beautifully appointed and extremely convenient for guests or while relaxing on the first floor, and the laundry area is directly across.
The first floor master is great for a couple or for kids. There is a queen bed and ensuite bathroom with tub and shower, and a trundle underneath the bed can be made up upon request.
The upstairs guest bedroom can be configured as a king bed or two XL twin beds and has vaulted ceilings with a fan.
The upstairs master bedroom boasts vaulted ceilings, a ceiling fan, a king size modern canopy frame bed, arm chair, and a 43” 4K smart TV. The spacious bathroom is ensuite and shared with the guest room via a hall entrance.
OTHER AMENITIES
Use of the East Hampton Village and Town resident beach parking stickers on our SUV is available for an additional fee. Note that non-resident parking at beaches in EH m, where available, is extremely limited and costs $50 per day (and there is no non-resident parking available at most beaches). Resident parking stickers get you access to nearly every public beach from the East Hampton town line all the way to Montauk.
All beach/pool supplies included - towels, Tommy Bahama chairs and umbrellas, coolers, beach cart, pool and beach toys.
A pack and play or highchair are available upon request
TVs can be placed in the first floor master or second floor guest bedroom upon request.

Pool heating is at the discretion of guests. Propane usage for pool heating not included in rate, will be billed back at cost (deposit required - this is the pool fee listed in the rate. Any unused sum will be refunded )

Our stay at Ben and Tasneem's house was exceptional - the house was perfect for our relaxed and laid back Hamptons vacation.
The house is conveniently located in a part of East Hampton that is quiet and subdued, but a quick drive from the beaches and downtown East Hampton, as well as the other Hamptons towns. The backyard and deck are both functional and lovely and the pool is huge and well maintained.
The interiors are bright and airy, as well as clean and comfortable. Moreover, the kitchen was very well stocked with almost every type of utensil and appliance you could need, but it also wasn't overstocked with leftovers from previous renters or too much clutter. One detail that was especially considerate was the proliferation of towels throughout the house and the separate sets of bath, pool and beach towels. They also provided some handy beach gear, including beach chairs, coolers and umbrellas.
The house is also especially suited for families with young children. We were traveling with a one year old and Ben and Tasneem made a crib, toys and pool fence available to us, which made staying in the house even more hassle-free.
Finally, working with Ben and Tasneem was a breeze. They are both extremely communicative, and gave us extremely clear information throughout the process.
We had an unforgettable week at the house, and we look forward to coming back.
