will never stay there again

This place is loud. the bed was in a room situated to the bathroom of the neighbouring room and i could literally hear my neighbour fart on the toilet and some more irritating noises. water of the toilet was also running all night. didn´t sleep at all

all of the above. plus the super loud gusts, returning in the middle of the night. looked like a palce on the internet, felt like a hostel dorm in reality. my room was above the entarance door which was banged all night. worst stay in ital for me.

A cheap, hot night in an otherwise comfortable room in a great building.

Great location in very beautiful old building. Very reasonable price for a small en-suite single room in the centre of town. Breakfast was fine but nothing extraordinary.

It was hot. Very hot. There was a portable AC machine and a fan but the AC was very loud so didn't use over night. Wifi was patchy.

Nice new rooms in the old nice hotel

In the old town, a really nice hotel with parking in the yard. In the hotel is restaurant with tasty food and good prices. Very friendly staff.

The soundproofing is not very good, so you can occasionally hear other guests if they are loud.

Great location- good stay foe few days

The location is absolutely fantastic. Nestled right in the heart of the city, it’s within walking distance to all the major attractions and good restaurants. The building itself is charming and well-maintained, blends beautifully with the surrounding architecture. The rooms were spacious and clean.

Our experience was soured by the attitude of the staff. Despite already paying a premium for parking, I was surprised when they requested an additional fee for extending my parking by just a few hours. This seemed unnecessary, especially given that there were free parking spaces. While the hotel’s location and building are top-notch, the staff’s approach to customer service and the cramped bathroom space could certainly use some improvement.

Stop-over in a charming location

Historical place. Clean rooms and bathrooms. Breakfast included choice of cheese, yogurt and fruits amongst others. Great dining at Piccarello Osteria down the street.

One of the rooms was very hot because the fan did not work properly. We found out too late to ask for a solution (reception is closed at night).

Medieval city hotel experience

The historic building is being converted into a comfortable hotel. The cleanliness of the rooms was really good. The beds were really comfortable. The walk to the city is very convenient. The parking was also very good for an extra 10 EUR. The breakfast was really good choice and refreshing. Our room was also supplied with ear plugs which were needed.

Rooms close to the staircase were really noisy as the staircase doors are shutting really loudly. The main gate also noisy in the night as late comers arrive by car. The street side rooms, although the street is really beautiful, are really noisy because of the pebble pavement which the cars drive on. Fortunatley they provided ear plugs in the bathroom toilettry. The offer contained balconies to our rooms. It turned out on arrival that was dependent on availability and the hotel has only 1 room with balcony.

Cozy stay in the centre of Novara

The location of the hotel is perfect, right in the centre of the city. The rooms are very clean and refurbished, the mattress very comfortable and the bathroom was well equipped. They offered us a bottle of water as well as tea and coffee inside the room. One big advantage is that the room was very warm.The breakfast was various and of good quality. Marco, the receptionist was more than polite and helpful!

It was conveniently located for the airport and for dinner etc.

We had to keep getting up through the night to empty the 3L water bottle attached to the noisy, portable air conditioner in the room as it floods the floor when it overflows. You cannot use the ceiling fan as it is extremely loud. There are a lot of stairs and no lift.

It was a good stay, but there is the room for improvement.

They have the washing machine to clean your stuff. The hotel is located at the centre of Novara. The breakfast included everything you need with a nice coffee.

The shower room was leaking from the bottom, where the shower head wasn’t in the best conditions. The hotel has old three sockets, having only one adapter, so that I had to buy a few more to charge my laptop and phone.

cute place in a cute city

The hotel is right in the core center of Novara, so you can walk anywhere you want. It’s also really close to the station in case you want to take the train to Milan or anywhere else. The architecture of the place is really cute and historical, which is a real plus. And the staff at the reception is really nice !

The fan was really loud, cannot be used while sleeping, a little leak in the shower, and the housekeeping lady was a bit rude…

Brilliant hotel in a great location. Big family room with a great breakfast

The hotel was clean and in a great location. Excellent breakfast with lots of choice of food and drink and was ideal before checking out for travel to Malpensa airport. Big family room with a separate room for our children.

The reception opened at 7.30am. We had been requested to pay tourist tax at reception before leaving to catch our train at 8.10am. However, the receptionist was not at the desk and we had to ask the restaurant staff to assist. It got sorted although was not ideal when we were rushing off to catch a train.

location is very good for me, breakfast is average could be improved, the main downside I would say are the shower heads that apparently are faulty in all of the rooms i've been in, and by now i've tried most of them!

location was good

double bed was actually two single beds and kept moving apart during the night, so they were not comfortable. Rooms had very poor sound isolation, so you could hear everything going on both inside and outside.
