An ideal place to stay in centre of town, close to local walks and transport

Few minutes walk to everything. Did not need the car as used buses and trains. Very quiet area. An upside down house, with good size rooms. Nice to have heating for those cooler mornings and evenings. Well equipped.

Outside seating needs a little tlc, but with a lovely park over the road and beach at bottom of road, we did not need it.

Kitchen needs new matching crockery, glasses, baking trays etc. Also probably best not to say there are facilities to charge an electric car.

Well equipped property ideal for town and the beach. Very welcoming host.

Fantastic location and well equipped facilities. The house is ideally placed for exploring town and being able to walk to the beach either through the town or the back streets. Made to feel welcome by the host who met us at the property and allowed us slightly early access. Thank you Bennet.

Good location, spacious property.

Location and lots of space in property.

Being disturbed at 9am on the first morning by the host to bring us a lightbulb to replace a pink one in a bedside lamp. Would have appreciated a text message asking when it would be convenient to call round! Property was also a bit grubby - cobwebs, dirty drawers etc. Needs a thorough dusting and hoovering. Complimentary coffee sachets were 2 months past their best before date, loose tea bags in an open caddy unappealing. Wine and beer glasses provided but no bottle opener or corkscrew. Washing up bowl extremely tatty and in desperate need of replacing.

Location close to beach and town centre was great!

A damp smell as you arrive in the property is evident and mould in the shower was significant ,the mould was however was cleaned when we mentioned to the owner.The property overall was very dusty and gave the impression it was not used often or cleaning standards were poor..It was a little dated everywhere

Great location

The location was brilliant, just off the High St with lots of cafes, and close to the esplanade. That said, it was so quiet as it's mews position meant there was no passing traffic or footfall. Having a parking space was great, no looking for on street parking. The property had a quirky layout and was very spacious. The bed was comfortable, and the kitchen was well equipped.

There was nothing we didn't like. Some of the furniture was a bit dated, but it was comfortable and very clean. We had our dog with us, and this is just a heads up that the lovely park over the road does not allow dogs even on a lead. The beach has a dog area which is under 10 minutes walk away so that was great.

Was a very enjoyable stay but with some room for improvements.

Access to car severely restricted by overgrown foliage. Sofa poorly placed for viewing television and no dvd. Outside gates need sorting out. Lack of hooks in bathroom. Basin plugs need sorting out.

Great location to everything, especially my elderly aunt, who was the reason for our visit. Plenty of shops and attractions if that’s what you want.

The Tardis.in the middle of Minehead

stayed for New Year 2024. big surprise. doesn't look that big from outside but really spacious inside. its an upside down house... bedrooms down stairs, living space upstairs and it works really great. 2 bedrooms downstairs both with ensuite (1 with shower, 1 with bath) and comfy beds upstairs lounge, dining area and large kitchen with everything you need . can cook a 5 course meal if you wish! also an upstairs toilet which was convenient. on drive private parking. 2 min walk into town, 5 mins to seafront but very quiet. perhaps i shouldn,t say this but for what we paid, I think the property is worth more per stay.

Lovely stay in a lovely home

We loved everything! Shower was a little small but given it was just the two of us it didn’t matter. Plenty of room - a lot bigger than it looks from outside! We loved it and would love to come back again! Just bring a bottle opener as that’s the only thing we couldn’t find - everything else was there! We didn’t use dishwasher but it was great that it was an option. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Location was very good, parking a bonus.

The overpowering smell of damp as you entered the front door continued through to the bedrooms and bathrooms. Also the whole place needs a deep clean, there was dust everywhere.

We enjoyed our stay and it was good value for money.

The location was excellent, near to town but very quiet. It was comfortable and had everything we needed.

The property was advertised with a garden which was the reason that we booked it. It does have a small paved area in the front of the property but there is no direct access. We have a small dog and we did think that there would be more outside space for him.

Short break.

We absolutely loved our stay in this cottage, only minutes from Minehead town centre and beachfront with some of our favourite places within easy reach, Dunster,Porlock,Lynton, and Lynmouth. The cottage was very clean, spacious, comfortable, and really well equipped. We will certainly be returning.
