Made reservation in Feb for arrival in May. When we tried to check in they had nothing indicating we had reservations. Prior to checking in tried to reach host about a couple different things and no response from them. Tried to reach host and management company to find out what was going on and no answer, Finally reached VRBO and told the person my problem and while I was on the phone the reservation showed up and she immediately hung up on me. The unit had nothing comfortable to sit on but the beds were comfortable. Very disappointing with the overall arrangements. Resort was noisy, with people slamming doors and yelling after midnight. Most of the shops adjoining the resort were closed and overall run down.

Great view of the beach and pool area! Staff was friendly and helpful. Plenty of towels, and some boogie boards and beach toys as well. Beds were very comfortable! Highly recommend!

We've stayed at Ocean Walk Resort many times in the past without any issues, however, this past weekend was a bit frustrating. First of all, the bottom park of the shower was loose which made it difficult to turn on the top part of the shower and when we called downstairs, we were told that maintenance cannot assist since we booked through a third party and since we did not know who to contact, we did the best we could to get cleaned up. Secondly, there was only two rolls of toilet paper available and we were four staying from Friday to Monday. When we went downstairs to request toilet paper, we were informed that we had to pay for it since we did not book through Ocean Walk. We've booked through VRBO in the past without any issues. should we have done something differently? Please advise.
