Welcome to NATURE WALK Lake House at beautiful Sunset Ridge on Barren River Lake. This unique home offers two separate living quarters separated by a common covered breezeway. Each suite has 3 bedrooms and 2 baths for a total of 6 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms, offering social distancing at its very best. NATURE WALK is PERFECT for large groups or two families and has the most beautiful sunsets on Barren River Lake (seasonal). The two living quarters share a common screened breezeway and deck. INCREDIBLE lake front home with new steps leading straight down to the lake. An aluminum DOCK on deep water is perfect for fishing, swimming or kayaking. This property has a private tennis court with half court basketball goal, pickleball, fire pit, pool table, and a shed full of outdoor games.
Nature Walk is just over a mile from Bailey’s Point Campground, Boat Ramp and Picnic area with a working dairy farm right across the street. Barren River State Park/Lodge is within 10 miles. There are several marinas nearby for boat rentals and all your fishing needs: Barren River State Marina, Narrows Marina, and Walnut Creek Marina. Day trips from this location include: Bowling Green, Beech Bend Amusement Park, Nashville TN, National Corvette Museum, Kentucky Down Under, Mammoth Cave National Park, Western Kentucky University, The MINT Gaming Hall in BG and Franklin, KY.

This is the second year we have stayed at this property with a large family group. We hope to return next year. Beautiful property.

Great property for four families with kids 8-12 y/o. The house layout was excellent and we didn’t experience any dairy farm smell. The house was clean, pleasant, filled with light and had great views. Lots of stairs in the house and down to the water. Despite the high water, the dock was still accessible with a bit of effort (scurrying along the shoreline or wading to the ramp). We greatly enjoyed swimming (very warm water) and fishing from the dock (sunfish between the dock and shore) and the lovely sunsets Bringing our own life jackets was cumbersome but very useful. A couple issues: renters will likely need to purchase more toilet paper and paper towels, The AC in one upstairs bedroom didn’t work well. This being said, we still strongly recommend the property.

The house was very nice but the odor from the cow farm across the road was horrid. Nice house but I wouldn't stay here again.
