First of all; I am not promoting this Property. The experience what I had recently that I am sharing which is purely based on our observation. This looks like a new property. The staffs are friendly. We [couple] recently visited this place and had a nice experience in terms of the facilities this property provides, food, cleanness overally. If you are looking for a budget friendly but homely accommodation at the same time, then Zara Homestay could be a great choice. The location is good. You can avail TOTO [a local means of transportation] to see places. This property can also be a good helping hand to pick you from Bolpur/Shantiniketan when you reach here either by Bus or Train. You have to pay for your commute obviously as such expenses is not part of the booking. But you can thus avoid the hounding of other drivers on you, specially if this is the first time you are reaching here [like any other new places]. They will help you to drop at the boarding point too. You can have food here with your own cost and all type of meals [Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner] are available which you have to inform them in advance to serve you better. MOST IMPORTANTLY, what caught my attention is that; the staffs are focused on their duties. A simple example - if you ask for your food to serve you in a specific time or if you request them to remind you about the time when you wish to leave the property, they will always notify you in advance. This is something which I bet, we generally don't see in other hotels or lodges except in 'Star' rated hotels.

The payment methods this Property follows are Cash, GooglePay, PhonePe etc. If you are planning to travel right now [We visited this December, 2021] then chances are high that you may not find option to swipe your Debit or Credit card. So, in case if you are not using other pay methods, then atleast carry 'Cash' with you to avoid unnecessary lookouts for ATMs as ATMs are not quite nearby to this Property.
