Peaceful Garden Retreat in Tunbridge Wells

The owner Jo is so friendly and helpful and was just next door if we needed anything. The location was perfect for us to visit places like Sissinghurst and Ightham Mote. And this was a last minute booking after another turned out not to be suitable, so we couldn't believe our luck! The flat was absolutely spotless and had everything we could have needed including thoughtful touches like a first Aid kit in the drawer. It really was the restful break we needed after a rather frazzled time. It is as lovely as it looks in the photos. Wine, water, and milk in the fridge, and shortbread biscuits! A fan next to the bed was very handy in the heat and having big patio doors that opened onto our little bit of garden helped keep the room cool at night. Lovely to sit outside with a tea or coffee and that gave us a spot to quickly dry shoes. The blinds kept out any light from the street and the private road meant it really was very quiet and secluded. The bed was so comfortable that I asked Jo for details and bought the mattress as soon as I got home! We will certainly come back!

Absolutely nothing to dislike.

We were very pleasantly surprised at how good this property was. All the fittings were good quality as were the towels and gowns. The room was bright and airy and the small garden was not overlooked. The property is only a short distance from the town and there are good restaurants in the vicinity. The owner was charming and made us very welcome.

Everything was good

The location was wonderful. It's in a private neighborhood and you'll have a parking spot next to the cottage. Jo (hostess) was such a pleasure, checked on me a few times and gave me some info about the town and how to take a beautiful walk into Tunbridge Wells thru the Commons. Oh, and the bed was sooo comfy.

The Acorn studio was very nicely presented, very clean, well equipped and well located for local amenities. Jo the owner was very friendly and helpful throughout our stay
