Amazing views, especially the 2nd and 3rd floor bedrooms! So fun to watch the seals and bald eagles too. Crystal and Myrna were both great to work with. Kitchen is stocked well too. Beach was beautiful and fun to explore. You can walk along at steps by Jellybeans ice cream (highly recommend) or 10ish houses down from this there is a path ‘at your own risk’ paved mostly with a rope to hold, which we thought most anyone can easily walk down.

This was a delightful home with gorgeous bay and ocean views. Added bonus of fluffy robes to use while sitting in our bedroom watching eagles and seals!Will definitely stay here again- great location to base from for local adventures.

Loved the cute house. It was perfect for our family of 4. Kids loved the top lofted bedroom. View and loxation are great. We went to the ocean every day, and got drenched from costal rain every afternoon. It was difficult getting clothes to dry in a house that doesn't offer a dryer.

Very easy access to Yachats and Newport as well as Waldport. House is very well equipped and comfortable. The views of the sea and the bay are amazing from many spots in the house. Very quiet neighborhood. Hate to leave but will definitely come back

The home is very well decorated. The views of both the Alsea River and Pacific Ocean were spectacular. Enjoyed watching the boats, crabbers and harbor seals. Would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful view! The house was clean and comfortable. A couple of little things kept me from giving this house 5 stars: no soap for the showers and no frying pan in the kitchen. For $300+ a night I would have expected those items. Please think about getting window shades for upstairs.

Four of us had a wonderful vacation visit at the property. When we found out our friends were bringing a recently broken foot, we knew we had to change plans, but the home was perfect for our needs. Since the beaches were going to be problematic with one of us hobbled, we stayed close to home, watching crabbers, seals, eagles plus a myriad of other bird species. Though we couldn't use the great room because it was up the stairs, we did find a variety of jigsaw puzzles we put to use. The home had everything we needed. I need to give a special shout out to Lily, our contact. Thanks, once again for the special care you gave me and my family and friends. We hope we can do it again.

Nice property overlooking the channel. 2nd floor bed was very comfortable and has great windows overlooking the water. Would be even better if the windows had screens so they could be open to let in fresh air and sounds of the ocean. There is a large tv room but we could not get that tv to work and there were no directions provided for the 3 remotes. TV on the main floor worked fine. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would recommend to others.

Our stay was much more than we all expected. Very clean, beautifully relaxing serenity. The home was equipped with EVERYTHING PLUS MORE!! We had other family staying in some units within walking distance and their places did not come close to the comfort, cleanliness, ir view. On a scale of 1-10 We would rate this home a 15+. Great location as well.

Process was easy. Response from manager was considerate, within reasonable time and always helpful. The house is situated in a quiet neighborhood and not far from beach, restaurants and shopping. Above all, the view from the house was such that you could enjoy the ocean pretty much from most of the house. Eagles came close to the house, could see other birds feeding in the bay along with seals. Planning to return again.

The house was very nice with great views to the northwest. If you are looking for a house facing west and the ocean this isn't it. But the view of the river and ocean were great. The house was clean and had everything we needed for a good coast vacation. We particularly enjoyed the view from the upstairs bedroom where we had coffee every morning.

We were three adults for 6 nights. We arrived just as an amazing storm was rolling in. The wind and waves were powerful but the house was quiet and we were able to sleep peacefully. The beds were very comfortable. Showers had good flow and towels were large, thick, and thirsty. Enjoyed the delightful decor featuring artful lighting and comfortable furniture. Appreciated the upstairs Keurig so we could have morning coffee without disturbing our friend in the downstairs bedroom. We had an eagle-eye view of the seals and crab fisher people. I would definitely recommend!!!

Heat wouldn’t work. Maintenance tried to help, but could not. Sofa sleeper is awful, don’t sleep on it. Plywood under cushions on couch. TV is difficult to use no instructions. There should be directions for beach access. View is phenomenal. The kitchen is nice and well equipped. Spacious.

What a great beach house. The home had nice big windows on the upper level and we enjoyed watching the seals and boats in the bay. The access to the beach wasn’t too bad- a couple hundred feet down the quiet neighborhood road there was a maintained trail down to the beach. The only drawback with the house was trying to figure out the wall heater on the lower level of the home. We followed the remote control directions for this but couldn’t get it to work so the downstairs was cold. I would stay here again- we really liked the location.

This appeared to be a new rental. I was very impressed with the details. The kitchen was well stocked and the Keurig coffee available was a nice touch. The decor was of a quality I haven't seen recently in rentals. The view is absolutely amazing. We had never stayed in Waldport before and enjoyed getting to know the little town. Notes about accessibility as that is important to my family: There are two small steps for entry. There is a ground floor bedroom that is pretty small but has a queen bed with very little clearance around it. The main floor also has a full bathroom. The walk to town is either by beach, when the tide is out or on the highway and a portion of the walk has a pretty narrow shoulder. There did appear to be a footpath right next to it if you don't mind walking in the weeds. This is a three level home and both the second bedroom and loft are open and not completely private. Neither has blinds on the windows. Apparently there is a washer and dryer in the garage but the garage is not accessible to guests without permission. Other renters had noted they were able to use the w/d after contacting the host. The beach access half a block down the street had a sign saying it was currently closed due to erosion. There was not a date for opening. The access is very steep. There is a very nearby state park that has beach access further south off 101. We had a wonderful stay and hope to return soon!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The views are stunning and the location is great. Watching the sea lions and the bald eagle perched on the tree outside the windows were unexpected delights. The variety of binoculars for everyone to get a better view was a nice touch. We would definitely stay here again.

The house is charming, with a beautiful view of the entrance to Waldport Harbor. Closest beach access is a steep, slippery trail that is eroded at the bottom--but once you survive the descent you can walk for miles and see seals, eagles, and vultures. The local caretaker is very responsive . My only complaint is that the small kitchen is over-equipped, the cupboards so full of not-often-used items that belong to the homeowner that there is no place to store your groceries. A good cleanout and packing up the excess would make the place perfect.

We had a very enjoyable stay in this unique home. The home was clean and the view was beautiful! It is in a quiet neighborhood. If traveling with friends, realize there is only one bedroom(downstairs) that has enclosed walls and a door. The other two "bedrooms" are not fully enclosed and do not have doors. Which causes a lack of privacy. Also, there were no blinds in the two upstaires "bedrooms" . No access to a washer and dryer without calling to be let into the garage. This is a beautiful spot and you can see and hear the Harbor Seals every morning, which is so enjoyable!

This is a special house one doesn’t want to leave. The kitchen is a joy to work in with plenty of counter space to work on. The main beds are super comfortable and the views spectacular! The bay front view gives you a greater chance at animal sightings. We saw eagles, seals, a hummingbird, as well as ducks and seagulls. It’s just a magical place!
