About this cottage rental
Featuring a patio looking out over the lake and just steps from our private beach, this suite is the perfect choice for your next getaway. Spend the day enjoying the waters of Lake Erie and end it relaxing by the fire with your feet up!
This suite features three bedrooms, two with a queen bed and one with a double, as well as a pull-out sofa that sleeps two.

• Features a beautiful walk-in shower with amazing water pressure for a luxury shower experience.

This was our first time staying at the long beach resort and we were definitely excited to come here. The place was reasonable clean outside of a slight dirty table and flies on the floor. The one downside I noticed right away is no AC. Tho as soon as you look past that there is a gorgeous view to the lake right outside of you patio. The sand was great on the feet, water was great to swim and tons of space in general
Despite that the trip was going well when we had a large rain fall. The ceiling on the second floor started to leak and our gazebo in the back collapsed. You can image with young kids if it fell on one of them it wouldn’t be good. Luckily we were all inside
The staff did do their best to make it more pleasant. They replaced the gazebo with a different one and came around asking if they wanted us to empty the bucket of water pooled from the leaking ceiling.
My advise to them would be to inspect the gazebos when they put them up. Ensure all the flaps are down. Water pooled up and causes it to cave in.
I probably wouldn’t stay here again after this experience just for safety reasons but I do leave with the feedback that the staff are all really nice and accommodating. Special thanks to Matt for fixing the gazebo and coming around asking us if all was ok.
For those that are still a bit cautious due to covid, there is no masking and limited social distancing here so be aware.
All in all it was an ok trip
