About this cabin rental

Beautiful Riverfront Log Cabin built in 2021. Bike, Hike, Fish Hunt, Swim, Peddle, Paddle or just relax in this Family Friendly Cabin! This is the PERFECT location for all your year round adventures in the PA Wilds! The cabin is situated DIRECTLY on the Wild and Scenic Clarion River in Elk County PA, approximately 1/2 mile downstream from the Irwin Boat Launch. Lots of options for River Adventures! RV hookup for Electric and Water. Every season is wonderful. My favorite float is to put in at the Arroyo boat launch and float right to the cabin! Enjoy beautiful views of the River from the wrap around deck. Great indoor and outdoor space to enjoy the beauty of the Allegheny National Forest and State Game Lands surrounding you. Cook Forest, Farmers Inn, Historic Ridgway, Benezette Elk Herd, the Elk Country Visitors Center, Straub Brewery and Kinzua bridge are all nearby. Linens and towels included. This property is better in person than in the pictures. Beautiful home on the banks of the Clarion River. Quiet and serene. The porch was huge and we sat on it both nights of our stay where we listened to the river softly flowing and watched the eagle fly up and down the river (amazing). Kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pans, plates, etc. We didn't spend any time in the loft area as it was just me, the hubby, and the pup and the weather was terrific so we spent more time outside on the deck. Loved the shuffleboard game in the basement. Clean and comfy. Hal was terrific to deal with. Check in and out were easy. We would definitely stay here again.

Its right along the river. We float from the boat launch to the cabin. The kids spend hours in the river throughout the day. Enjoy camp fires at night.

Cabin was even better than the pictures! So peaceful and relaxing. Everything we needed was already there aside from food and our personal items. Clean and tidy at our arrival. The river was beautiful and shallow enough cabin side for kids to safely play and catch critters. My son caught a very nice small mouth bass right in front of the cabin. The owner was great, and quickly responded to any questions. He was super helpful and extremely friendly. We did an amazing kayak trip up river and were able to float right down to the cabin. We are already planning a second trip! Honestly one of our best vacations to date.

My family absolutely loved our stay at the cabin. It was everything we had hoped it would be and more. The cabin is beautiful inside and out. It is modern with all the comforts of home. It is perfect for a family getaway. The location is breathtakingly scenic. We saw deer, turkey, otters, and bald eagles during our stay. Hal was wonderful to communicate with and responsive. You won’t be disappointed.

The property was well-kept and had all that was needed for a wonderful stay. Private and quiet, a nature lover stay. We saw Bald Eagle daily, deer crossing the river, fawns, and diving ducks, and found possible bear trax. It was fantastic. The beds could be more comfortable and had to sleep on the sofa but the bedding was nice etc. We had a great time on the river as did the dogs. I got to meet the owner and she was very nice. I would recommend a stay here. It was a nice escape from the grind and a good boost for our family dealing with cancer. It gives the soul a boost. I hope to stay again.

Five old college buddies meet every year for a weekend. Unfortunately this property is hard to find and there is no cell phone reception. As a result one of our ladies had to turn around and go home because she could not find it or reach us. It would be nice if the road had a sign. We enjoyed the deck the most - sitting through rain or shine watching the river. Very relaxing.

My family and I absolutely loved this property. Upon arrival, the cabin and grounds were clean and welcoming. We could tell a lot of thought had gone into making the property convenient, such as roasting forks for the fire pit, kitchen utensils, and cleaning products. We brought our dogs and had a relaxing week while visiting local family. The view of the forest and river is absolutely beautiful, this is one of the best rentals we've ever visited. We can't wait to return!

Thr river was very high and very fast. It rained for two days straight and hardly let up. The cabin is set up for a great time no matter what the weather is like. The pavilion was a lifesaver for the long weekend, with bad weather. We will be back next trout season for the third time and I already can’t wait. Fantastic owners, Thanks Hal, and family ❤️

Cabin was great. Open yet didn’t feel too big. Plenty of seating. Great views of the Clarion. We played a lot of shuffleboard! Covered pavilion and wood burning grill were used multiple times. Did drizzle on us a few times so having the outdoor covered area was nice. Unfortunately Clarion was too high/fast to canoe in but kids spent plenty of time down by the water. Lots of access points. Probably best part of our experience was working with Hal. Was very accommodating, quick to respond and a pleasure to work with.

This was our 2nd time staying in this cabin in early January the last couple of years. My wife and I as well as some friends will be back again next year. The ladies are already planning the trip. This cabin is absolutely beautiful and comfortable for our group. The addition of the shuffleboard table was a nice touch. I would recommend this cabin to anyone wanting to stay in a beautiful cabin right on the Clarion River.

Great location for a relaxing getaway. Property was well maintained and it was just what we needed. On nice days we sat by the river, hiked and cooked most dinners on the fire. We had some rainy days but very cozy to watch movies and just relax indoors as well! Definitely a place to check out:) thanks!!!

Our stay was absolutely perfect. The property itself was clean and beautiful. Very accessible and easy to find. Hosts were very quick to respond prior to our stay with last minute questions. We took full advantage of sitting on the river shore and the pavilion for playing cards at night. We brought river tubes with us and drove a few minutes up the hill to the Iriwin canoe launch and floated in our tubes directly to the cabin. We will be returning as soon as possible. It was truly an amazing place to stay!!

This was a family vacation with 6 adults and 1 15-month-old and our assorted dogs. The location of the house was perfect for swimming, tubing and kayaking. We also visited the Straub Brewery for a tour and lunch, hiked the Beartown Rocks Trail, biked the Clarion-Little Toby Trail, tried unsuccessfully to see elk, visited the Family Inn and the Diamond Deer ranch. We would recommend all of these activities and this rental to anyone who enjoys the outdoors. We also found some time to relax on the deck with a beautiful view and have a campfire. We appreciated being able to bring our dogs with us and would highly recommend this rental!

This was our second stay at the cabin…once again we had a fantastic time!! Rain was predicted but it never happened! Coffee and breakfasts over the campfires along with the evenings just made us feel so relaxed listening to the babbling river and nature at its finest. Everyone floated or canoed or just parked a chair in the river and thoroughly chilled. Memories and laughs made…what more could we ask!! Thank you to our hosts, they are very sweet and accommodating, and we all were grateful for this family time together disconnecting from all our busy lives. Thank you for having us again!!

GREAT! Me and my friends have been coming down camping on the Clarion for 30 years. We’ve have done it all on that river. From renting from loves canoe rental and now lazy river. We’ve canoe camped for days, we’ve tent camped all over and fished. Kayaks have replaced canoes, and last year we tent camped like we have done many times at the shore site just upstream of this place. That’s when we discovered this rental. With all of us getting older this is perfect. No more tent camping and everything you need at a beautiful place in the river. Did Arroyo to the cabin. It was great. We will be back. Thank you!

The property was exactly as pictured but even more beautiful and was very clean. This was a different kind of trip for us--we packed food to have every meal on location and just spent lots of time together--yet still had enough room at the location for time to ourselves as well. We at dinner outside and had a campfire every night. The time with family in nature will certainly be remembered for years to come (and too many activities to list here). We would definitely come back! A few side notes for those that consider renting: keep in mind that you only get 1 towel & washcloth per guest regardless of length of stay + 1 hand towel per bathroom, so if you prefer more you need to bring more. Also, if you don't prefer a flat pillow you'll need to bring your own. Wifi signal was much better than expected and same with the TV channels offered (we only used it when we needed down time).

Overall, nice cabin for a weekend getaway! Hal was responsive and accommodating. The cabin itself was beautiful and welcoming. Only suggestion for property owner would be to maintenance the grill, and for renters to bring paper products. Thank you!

Every year we plan a 2 day girls trip for myself and 4 of my friends, we were lucky to find this gem for this years stay. We all agreed it was the most relaxing and laid back stay we have had in awhile. We loved be right on the river and the pavilion was where we spent most of our time soaking in the view and sharing laughs. The property was as described and very clean! We had an awesome stay and absolutely plan to return!

We held a small event here and it was wonderful. The covered porch with grill and tables overlooking the Clarion river was perfect. Very quiet and lots of nature to observe. The cabin was stunning and made a lasting impression. Very spacious. We hope to return!
