About this house rental
This luxury cottage on Big Bob Lake has all the amenities any family could want. Enjoy a expansive dock that will easily fit all your guests. Dive into fun on the water with canoes, kayaks, paddle board, foam platform, and a swim raft. Sit on one of two decks overlooking the lake or the large grass area. Inside the cottage two large living rooms and a screened in porch means a spot for everyone. Winters = skating, snowshoeing, xc ski or snowmobiles.
The space
Walk into a chefs kitchen including a quartz counter top island, double sink, and top of the line appliances including a dishwasher. The main floor living area is full of natural light with floor to ceiling windows. Cozy up by the gas fireplace. The master bedroom is conveniently located off the main floor, including a luxury tub, double glass walk in shower and balcony overlooking the lake. A second bedroom is conveniently located on the main floor as well as a three piece washroom. The screened porch is a hit in the spring, summer and fall. Downstairs you will find three bedrooms, another three piece washroom, and a large recroom with a walkout to the lake. The recroom includes a wood burning fireplace, bar with fridge and dishwasher, and many comfortable couches and chairs, plus plenty of natural light.
Note: for winter renters, you will need an all-wheel drive vehicle such as an SUV, as our road has 2 hills, which may be snow-covered.

This is one of the most beautiful homes that we have stayed at. Robert was an amazing host, very responsive and warm! The space had all the amazing amenities and was very comfortable.It was a pet friendly property with loads of space and direct access to the lake which was so beautiful! We loved staying at this place and can’t wait to get back again! Couldn’t have imagined a better way of spending the thanksgiving weekend :)

We fell in love with this gem from the moment we saw the listing. The property and its surroundings certainly lived up to its description and then some.
Everything described in the listing is true but it simply doesn't do it justice until you arrive in person to take in the serenity and beauty of the property and its surroundings. The owner, Bob, was responsive and always available if needed. I spoke to him a couple of times and is extremely kind and always looking to help make the experience a great one.
Both my friend's family and our family enjoyed the stay and certainly look forward to returning some time soon!

Exceptional property. Clean, spacious, and finished with great taste and quality. The owner was very attentive and made sure that everything was in order before and throughout our stay. Do yourself a favour and find some time to visit here. Beautiful spot on the lake, which is not too big, nor too small. Within a short distance to all the amenities that the town of Minden provides and yet wonderfully secluded to feel at one with nature. We'll certainly try to get back as soon as possible!
